Well away from the town and beach, this is a wonderful little restaurant which is well worth a visit. I believe that they have a much wider range of choices at lunchtime, but in the evening there are five or six options for antipasto, primo, secundo, and desert. There is certainly something for everyone; the cuisine is traditional and simple, but very tasty, and most things appear home made. The atmosphere is very friendly and unrushed, and children of all ages are welcome. And then to top it all, the prices are really reasonable. We ate outside on a warm summer's evening, but could have stayed inside if we preferred. The only drawback were the mosquitoes! For us, one of the main benefits was that it was only 2 km from our flat in Salea, but even if we were the other side of Albenga it would have been worth the visit. Thoroughly recommended.

I have no sufficient words to describe how we felt at Rapalline. The food is marvelous and the menu is changing every day, with a fantastic taste of traditional italian dishes. The family which run this restaurant has the special gift of making you feel like one of them. They are warm people with open heart. You should not miss this experience. It is so rare...

Excellent local food and great value

We ate outside at this delightful local restaurant. Food is local, fresh and delicious. Small menu but that is not a problem. The ragu sauce for the pasta is definitely worth a try as is the finely sliced roast beef served with rocket and parmesan but the panna cotta is a MUST. The best I have ever eaten - silky smooth.

Beautiful meal in a traditional family restaurant

We ate al fresco at this charming restaurant, under the stars with birds chirping nearby. We started with ravioli which had been handmade by one of the many talented family members who own and run the restaurant. A generous helping, it was full of flavour and perfectly prepared. Second course was roast beef with rocket and Parmesan cheese - served at room temperature, I think this was a perfect choice for a hot summer night. Two of us continued and ordered the panna cotta with strawberries: a necessary indulgence. We finished our meal with biscotti and liqueur. A perfect evening in the countryside. With a bottle of red wine, this meal for 3 cost €70.

We stopped for a quick lunch. The restaurant is family run, well cooked and very good dishes. Fast service and very friendly staff. Excellent quality/price ratio. If you are in the area, a visit is recommended.

Genuine tastes and kindness of times gone by.

Restaurant that exudes authenticity and tradition. Union between typical Ligurian and typical Tuscan cuisine, with the old-fashioned kindness of the family who runs this restaurant with the passion and affection of those who host friends for lunch or dinner. The only sore point is not being able to resist Barbara's panna cotta which ruins the possibility of going on a diet... many times I tried not to order it without ever succeeding.
