The Service is disorganized and poor (we propose 3 times the dishes of another table) 40 € The dish of fresh pasta with mountain butter and Alba truffle were without taste ! The same goes for the rest of the menu we were really disappointed as we wanted to pleasure ourselves at the Truffle Festival ... It was extremely expensive... More

This is a must if visiting Alba. The bar above the restaurant is a great place to enjoy a glass of champagne or in our case a wonderful bottle of English fizz. The smell of white truffle was wafting through the entire place. We went down stairs to the wine caves to eat which is a wonderful setting. Stand out... More

We wnt there in order to eat white alba truffles. In fact we ordered a tartar with black truffles and tajarin with white fruffles. It was DELICIOUS!! Staff extremly friendly, helpful and competent. You can get fantastic wines by the glass, they have a special machine to keep the opened wine bottle and the remaining wine in excellent quality. Would... More

We were not impressed by the food and the service which I would rank as average. The location is pretty original with arcs and bricks in the wall, although it was very loud probably due to a bad insonomization. I found both La Libera and Osteria dell'arco better food and service.

Location: in the center of Alba Ambience: the restaurant downstairs makes you feel you have entered a century old wine cave - beautiful Service - average, not really helpful or friendly. Sommelier never advised on wine FOOD: somewhat average. The carpaccio was great. The battuta di fassone too salty. Risotto and tajerin good but very little white truffle added so... More

This is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of the old city...has the look and feel of an old wine cellar. The service was excellent and the food was very good.

A great find - hidden down the steps in a cellar the rooms are beautiful with curved brick ceilings. traditional piedmontise menu with a focus on great ingredients. Lots of pasta, truffle and red meat. The flavors of everything were excellent, portions generous, prices reasonable. Service was very good - warm, knowledgeable and prompt. Great wine list with excellent choice... More

It looked from the outside as just another touristy spot on the piazza. However when we gave our name they took us inside and downstairs into the cellar which was a much higher end option. We had amazing purple potato gnocchi and agnolotti, great wines by the glass. Quiet and cool, a good destination for food lovers wanting a modern... More
