The place to go if you like to taste the best fish in town! The “bollito misto di pesce” steam cooked seafood is magnificent. It is a plate with octopus, lobster, shrimps, langoustine and fresh fish. The service is excellent. The price is rightfully high...due to the quality of the ingredients. Surely worth a visit!!!More

Michelin is stingy with their stars in Italy. Perhaps they don't like the fact that there aren't flowers on the table, or that they mostly leave you to peruse their extensive wine list on your own. The quality and creativity of the food preparation here...is distinctive and exemplary. We also admire the consistency. We have never had a meal here that wasn't superb. The service is cheerful and attentive. The overall product is deserving of a star. At least Michelin recognizes it as a highly recommended restaurant. The price point is a little steep, but justified by the premium ingredients and artful presentation. It my be in a modest hotel, but the kitchen is one of the best in Liguria.More

The Lamberti is situated in the heart of the old town of Alassio and very well looked after by the owners. They made a revamp not long ago and we were surprised how nicely it is done. The food is like always brilliant and the...terrace is beautiful. Fortunately the nearby parking is hidden by old trees and only can take 4 cars. The chef prepares modern Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients and they offer top Italian wines. Try also without being a hotel guest. It is really worth it!More

Substance and artistry, this is a restaurant that consistently exemplifies Ligurian cuisine carried to its highest level. Every dish is presented with an ideal combination of premium ingredients, attractive plating and full flavor. The service is truly professional. The wine selection is deep and fairly...priced. The dining room is elegant and comfortable. The menu changes with the seasons. Besides the predictably strong suit in fish and shellfish, the chef knows how to prepare meat and poultry dishes with exemplary skill. There are a number of fine establshments in town. This is where we take our friends who have the deepest passion for culinary excellence.More

This is one of the best restaurants in Alassio. We had dinner with our two children. We had the 6 course tasting menu and a great chardonnay was recommended. For the girls they served a nice pasta. The food was deliciously prepared, The risotto was...amazing! This is absolutely a must see in Alassio, also for their exceptional winelist!More

We went with no expectations but a recommendation from the hotel Lido. We really entered a Hotel to our surprise and not a Restaurant which for us is rather uncommon. Yet they have a lovely restaurant, rather large with a quiet, joyful and slightly understated...atmosphere. All started when getting a lovely glass of sparkling offered to start with, great quality focaccia and an "amuse gueule". Then we were suggested a bottle of red from the region following our needs and the one we were proposed, exceeded our expectations and this for "just Euro 28". Then we ordered a mixed salad which is not on the menu but was delicious with a fab olive oil. Then we ordered fish (forgot the name but covered the plate, added buffalo mozzarella, olive oil, tomatoes) that was out of this world and pasta with lobster and fresh truffles. This was yet again an absolute delight and if we talk pricing, then a) the portions are absolutely reasonable, b) the prices for each of those above plates between Euro 25 and 28 if i recall well which is more than fair and difficult to find anywhere else. Then finish all with a grappa morbide, an espresso and on top they serve some sweets of which you must have these candid grapefruit slices which are so bitter-sweet, even i couldn't resist. Bravo to this Restaurant and I do believe they get very close to a Michelin-star if they continue this way! I was a total joy.More
