Sure, there are fancier and more popular places along the Alassio beach. But you can be assured of a warm welcome, reliable service and decent food here. We just ordered pasta for lunch and were quite pleased with the nicely prepared spaghetti and gnochetti. A small but worthy selection of wines, freshly cut fruit for dessert, complimentary foccacia with rosemary... More

Nice location in a lively street. Popular for all, adults, couples, children and families. The food is very good, fresh, typical Ligurian, Italian. The service is very good, staff is very pleasant and friendly. Prices are an excellent value. Would recommend for a nice dinner.

Simple, but no nonsense. Good food, good service, great location right next to the beach just a spet away from the middle of shaping promenade.

We had lunch on the passegiatta promenad in Alassio at U Recantu. It is a beautiful outdoor restaurant and we wanted to eat outside to enjoy the sunshine and magnificent views of the Riviera. I decided on a simple salad for each of us and a larger pizza to share. The salad was large and filled with three fresh tomatoes... More

I've previously mentioned U Recantu as a decent standby. On an early in the week Winter night with many restaurants in town closed for holidays of varying length the choices were limited. Having had a substantial lunch at Panama, we were looking for one quality course. We have had pizza at U Recantu before and I didn't recall it being... More

U Recantu tries to do a little of everything: pasta, pizza, fish. Fortunately, they do know what they are doing. This is not state of the art or fancy cooking, but the service is friendly and attentive and the food of decent quality. The gelati colored decor, informal setting a few feet off the beach, reasonable wine selection all contribute... More

The whole family had pizza here - more air in the bases, more like a thin focaccia. Very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. House wine was nice. Very good value. Would recommend a visit.

Typical Ligurian sea restaurant, Speedy and really nice waiters. Got for 2 a Swordfish roll entry and a Moscardino (Musky Octopuses) in red sauce with grilled vegetables, desserts, coffe for 45 EUR. Really good food and superb view. Gave a nice tip to the young waiter Will get back!

The food is of very good quality and very reasonable priced. We had 2 spaghetti vongoles (fresh) , 2 Calamari fritti's and a insalata Nicoise with additional unions for a total of Euro 61,00. Also a beautiful wine (white Greco di Tufo) for Euro 20,00 (worth it) and sitting outside you may want to see all tourist and locals pass... More
