Nice small place in not the nicest part of Agrigento, so it was a welcome chance to try real Sicilian food. We had read raving reviews, and together with the history of the place (a reconverted old bakery), we were excited. The dishes, slightly overpriced, were tasty and without too much fuss, the local white wine by the glass really... More

We were really wanting some pasta with red sauce but we both ordered differently when we got here and were not disappointed. They seated us way in the back corner (must have been my cologne?) but it turned out to be cozy and nice. I had the bucatini con le sarde - YUM, and my wife had risotto that was... More

This was one of the best meals I've had in Sicily or Italy, and honestly will stand out as one of the best I've had in my life. The local white wine was fine, but the food was excellent. The sesame bread was delicious and the only sesame bread I found in Italy. The Caponata di Melanzane had perfectly balanced... More

I toured in east Sicily for a week, sleeping in Syracuse. As I found the restaurants in Syracuse quite expensive for what was being offered, I chose to have a nice complete lunch when on the road and a lesser dinner when I got back. In this case it was a mistake : a cramped space, cold service and for... More

The owner of our B & B suggested we try Ex Panificio, and were happy to follow his advice, despite it not being on our original list of possible resturants in Agrigento. Full marks to the B & B owner: he knew what he was talking about, as the food was delicious. We both had grilled swordfish which, unlike a... More

Recommended by a friend, we had an excellent fish of the day baked in parchment with vegetables and tomato resulting in a delicate sauce when the parchment was opened...perfectly executed....two pasta dishes that were good but less so than the fish.... two desserts, a cassata with just the right amount of sweetness and the most heavenly panna cotta served with... This restaurant is set in one of the most attractive squares in Agrigento, very close to the theatre. The accommodation is pleasant and the waiter service is first class. There is a wide selection of food on the menu and i can personally recommend the Snapper on the Pesce menu. The selection of wines is also first class. The quality... More

Good restaurant, with a modern twist. Friendly staff. We had to wait a little while but the dishes made up for it just fine. Leave some room for the perfect desserts! Especially the couscous made of pistacchio is a delight.

Visited for lunch. The food was good, no complaints. The service slow, we had to ask for pepper and things like that twice before we got them. It looked like nobody cared to attend. Though the food was good, the experience was not worth it
