We frequent the La Curia bar for an evening drink & finger foods and every now and then go to the restaurant, too. The bar has some of the best foods for the Piedmontese tradition of aperetivo. Their robiola, which is served with very good quality olive oil and very thinly cut onions and sprinkled generously with black pepper is... More

After a successful shopping trip nothing could have been more perfect: new season asparagus with parmesan, succulent and savoury lamb sweetbreads with spinach, followed by cheeses and a chocolate mousse! Superb service, and Olim Bauda's Barbera by the glass....

Really nice place with delicious foods, prosecco and kind waiters. I've been there in a birthday party, dj set and beautiful people. The restaurant is big also for buffet party. Positive feedback here.

Simply brilliant. Just do not understand why this is not #1 in AT. Been many, many times over the years. Never disappoints always dazzles. Massimo is a fantastic host. Not cheap but beautifully prepared and presented cooking.

It's all about the fine, fresh ingredients: Primo was sliced raw porcini mushrooms with shavings of Parmesan cheese and olive oil. Secundo was tajarin (a thin flat egg pasta) with porcini mushrooms. My wife had simply grilled porcini. All matched with a good local dolcetto d'alba wine. It doesn't get better than this.

This place is a great find in Acqui Terme. Half block from the thermal fountain. Great tartufo dishes (Oct/Nov only). Super food and great wine list. Also has a great wine bar next door with free appetizers which can make a meal. Max is the owner and is super. Don't miss the cheese plate for dessert.

We picked this place purely by chance, but what a find! Very welcoming owner. Lovely outdoor covered area. Imaginative menu containing a lot of unusual items which makes a nice change. Huge wine list of course, including a wide selection of foreign wines. And today's special was funghi done any way you wanted, so we chose fried in breadcrumbs, the... More

A total friendly welcome by owner and a wonderful lunch with surprising dishes as onion filled starter and a great adventure in the second dish, served with sweetbreads, calf balls, rooster wattles and comb. A try out for the adventurous eaters. Overall a great kitchen with an outstanding winelist of local wines. A visit worth the detour. We enjoyed it... More
