Enjoyed a very tasty crab sandwich with coffee - wonderful doorstep cut granary bread (and I mean doorstep - no measly portion here). Very relaxed little coffee shop, perfect to sit and while away a few moments. Tastefully decorated with art works from the nearby gallery.

We were visiting Charlestown and decided to stop for coffee and a snack. As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed. Its a lovely cosy, warm and friendly place. We had the usual tea/coffee and i had a toasted teacake and the rest had cookies, all really nice.

Popped in and had lunch with our two boys. Food was delicious and the two ladies working were very kind & helpful with the boys food. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Great place to shelter when the weather turns sour , coffee is good and the cake is to die for .... its a shame but understandable that the dog has to stay outside all be it with their own dog bowl !

Lovely, cosy coffee shop in Charlestown with lovely, friendly service. It's very, very small inside but they have maximised the space well and there is an outside toilet. We all had cream teas - one large scone as opposed to two, but with plenty of jam and cream. The scone was a little soft for my liking but still very... More

So glad we found Charlie's. We were greeted by two very friendly ladies . I had a prawn sandwich on exceptionally nice granary bread, which had so many prawns and a very tasty Marie Rose sauce. The homemade cakes on show all looked lovely so it was very hard to choose, I decided on the chocolate fudge cake and was... More
