Staying in Carlyon Bay and this was one of the places recommended to us. After a stroll along the coast path we ended up in Charlestown rather hungry. The p Lace was very busy whichis always a good sign. Luckily there was a spare table, would recommend booking if it wasn't midweek off season. The menu looked sumptuous and I... More

Fantastic fresh fish. Super staff. Give it a try you will love it. The portions were very good, didn't have room for a desert unfortunately as they looked delicious. Our first visit but will definitely go again. Essential to book by the look of it as it is very popular.

We visited Charlestown for the first time and had lunch at Wreckers. There were 4 of us and 3 of us had the lunchtime specials - mine was the fish pie, it was delicious with very nicely cooked, and presented, vegetables. Would definitely eat there again if we were in the area and would recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful food but unfortunately the night we went the service was very slow, both at the start and between courses. This place is always busy so staff could be a lot slicker

This restaurant is perfect in every way. fabulous reasonably priced menu, local produce, wonderful service great atmosphere & just yards from the picturesque harbour. There is a set menu which covers most things meat/fish/vegetarian but also a separate specials menu which most people seemed to be having & which were all fish related. Staff were friendly and cocktails available as... More

Enjoyed a very nice cream tea here. Scone was huge and staff were attentive and engaging. Nice to relax and watch the world wander past.

Visited here on a very busy Easter Friday and found the food to be tasty and fresh and quite good value for money. Good service and the restaurant was extremely busy...worth coming to!

After a long walk we found Wreckers which has a lovely view. I had the Fowey mussels which were delicious, I would have liked more sauce over them but that is a minor detail. The kids meals were substantial and we had clean plates all round, the service was friendly. Normally I do not have dessert but I could not... More

All seafood is freshly prepared and eat quality locally sourced fish You must try the Fowey river mussels typical if Cornwall these large soft almost chalky mussels are fantastic honestly you can not find the same...
