Wonderful meal with the family in La Luge tonight. The food was excellant, especially the salmon gravalax and the vegetable gratin. Beautiful views and nicely decorated. A warm welcome from the owner who couldn't have been more obliging. Will be back again soon.

The Luge has a new owner, Fred, and if it is to keep it's good reputation, things need to improve. On our visit, the service was slow and haphazard and the food not up to scratch although those eating pizza said they were ok. We...really hope it gets better as the season goes on because we'd like Fred to succeed.More

We have eaten here for many years since buying an apartment in Montalbert. The previous owner had built a loyal following & we were worried when we heard that La Luge is under new ownership - what a treat to find that the food is...still fabulous! We enjoyed delicious pizza, fresh and generous toppings and a very tasty salad with imaginative combination. Very friendly service. Looking forward to our return in the Winter.More

Having decided we were ‘only going to have the one’.... not being particularly hungry, we read the menu, smelled the cooking pizzas and promptly decided we’d have two. We could always take leftovers on the slopes the next day, right? Yes sure. Margarita and a...Notre Dame (veg feast) ordered and ready to go in ten minutes, we arrived back at our gite and devoured them both. Dare I say it felt ok to do so as they seemed ‘healthy’?? They were so fresh and the toppings like they’d just been picked, it didn’t feel like ‘naughty pizza’. So if after a day’s skiing/boarding (or not) and you feel like a takeaway treat without the guilt, this is the one.More

Ate here twice during a family ski trip. Really friendly waitress and very nicely layout resturant. Mainly a pizzeria, but some other options are available. Good value so I would definitely recommend!

6 of us had a table booked on a Saturday night. The small restaurant was busy with just the owner front of house and partner cooking. Although she was very busy she was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly and was very well cooked.

Having had the good fortune to spend some time in the fabulous resort of La Plagne Montalbert, it meant that we have been able to visit this restaurant in a few occasions. The whole package with this restaurant is fabulous. Being someone who is wanting...to improve their French language, the hostess (sorry for not getting her name) is most accommodating and very helpful ( not automatically reverting to speaking English), she is very friendly and very attentive. The food is absolutely delicious and the place just has a lovely friendly atmosphere. I would certainly recommend and hope to visit again.More

Had a lovely evening with family and friends and enjoyed fantastic pizza. Nothing was to much trouble as everyone in our party wanted a slight alternative to what was on the menu. Would certainly recommend this little restaurant and will return for sure.

We tried 3 different restaurants in montalbert and this was definitely our favourite, the service was very friendly and the food was exactly what was promised on the menu. We had salads, tartiflette, mont d'or melted in it's box, and a pizza and also tried...their specialities: oeufs cocottes au reblochon which was delicious and a fabulous creme brulee dessert. Menu came with complientary nibbles and a truly historic caramel vodka digestif. A really nice little place to spend the evening.More
