I was disappointed that the ‘Irish sausage’ was actually bangers. Not the same taste. The bread was so so. The breakfast potatoes were delicious. Tea water was not very hot. My server Conor was very personable and friendly. I do not hold the server responsible...for the lack luster meal.More

Had lunch here recently on a cold, rainy day. The fireplaces were on which was very nice. Fish and chips were yummy, large enough portion to share. No drink menu which we found odd. Fair service.

It was a windy cold Friday and we were in Spring Lake. Even though the website you could not book we did and were glad as the pub was busy. Food was excellent with big portions. We ordered clams and bang bang shrimp. Amazing and...tasty. Corn beef sandwich with fries was great the next day. Chicken and dumplings were not the traditional big round dumplings..it was still delicious. Will be back in warmer weatherMore

My wife& I both like the restaurant, but when we had a take-out dinner I was very disappointed with the blue cheese that came with the chicken wings. The wings were excellent, but the blue cheese was more like a salad dressing. They should try...the blue cheese that Simkos serves with their wings.More

We were very impressed the first time we ate dinner here so we took some friends who'd not been before. The entrees were fish and chips (huge portions and reportedly quite good), bangers and mash (what could be bad), and Guiness Beef Stew (substantial and...tasty). So what was not to like. I remembered a bread basket with several good items. Not so this time- thin slices of not very fresh Irish soda bread. A complimentary salad was lackluster and the house dressing flavorless. I'll try another Irish pub next time.More

There is something very familiar and comforting about St. Stephen's--it is like the great neighborhood pubs in London. There is also something very NEW JERSEY about St Stephen's, which is a breath of fresh air in the middle of this state that can't figure out...whether to cheer for the Giants or the Eagles (hey, what about the Jets?). Everyone seemed to be a Devils' fan. St Stephen's is a lot of dark wood and sports on the TVs over the bar. The beer is fantastic, the bar drinks maybe a little too sweet, the food is good. The staff is terrific.More

Every year my two brothers, cousins & our spouses plan a family Christmas event where we have a nice dinner and then go to see a holiday play. Past years included Princeton's McCarter Theatre and The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA. This year...we chose Scrooge the Musical at Spring Lake Theatre in Spring Lake, NJ and St. Stephen's Green for our dinner and it turned out to be a GREAT choice. The restaurant was warm & cozy sitting next to the fireplace and decked out in greenery giving it an overall Charles Dickens atmosphere. The Crispy Calamari & Drunken Clams were the perfect starters and all our dinner entrees were perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Irish coffee and a few shared deserts ended a great dinner. This Irish Pub is well worth a visit and we'll be returning soon.More

A family favorite amongst all the pubs on the Jersey Shore. Love the Shepard’s pie! Great for families or the gang. Become one of the regulars at the bar!

Hi ... not sure what their lunch menu is on Sundays. When I had lunch there, it was not on a Sunday. I suggest you contact the restaurant directly to find out, or check their website. Enjoy your travels!
