This wasn't really what we expected. Restaurant dining was closed due to Covid. We did takeout and sat at the patio tables. Living in Texas for over 25 years this didn't match the BBQ we get in Texas. Meat already was covered in sauce. Our...sandwiches were a little cold but could be just due to getting takeout.More
My family and I like to try new places and we are so happy we stumbled into this place. It’s small (cozy), cheeky, and the the food is phenomenal! The mashed potatoes are to die for, they usually run out of that side before any...other. My hubs had a huge brisket sandwich, I had pulled pork and chicken with the mashers and a huge side of Mac and Cheese for the kids. Everyone left with full tummies and were completely satisfied. We will absolutely be back for more!
Kudos to this hard working family for kicking out some seriously tasty food!More
We love coming here! The food is really tasty! We love the meatloaf, and pulled pork. The Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes are our favs. ❤️ Definitely take a chance and try this place out if you like BBQ!
My wife had a pulled chicken sandwich and I had a chopped brisket sandwich. The hoagie roll was extremely fresh and the BBQ sauce used for the brisket was excellent. My potato salad was good - just needed to add a little sauce. Service was...friendly and the owner was VERY helpful at checkout. You order at the counter and take your food on a tray to one of several benches/tables. Outdoor seating is available. Prices are very reasonableMore
We had previously eaten at Lost Texan BBQ a few times, both as takeout and eat in (they have great picnic tables for a nice day) and their food was good. Not the greatest bit definitely not the worst. The last (and final time) we...went there, which was a while ago, we asked for turkey. We were told it was cooking and to wait, which we were fine with. After waiting around 10 minutes it came out and we ordered 3 lbs. and numerous sides, at which point we were told that we couldn’t have that much turkey because it wouldn’t leave much for other future customers. We were shocked that a guaranteed sale now was rejected for the possibility of future sales with no alternative given. We left with nothing because while sides are fine, folks want a main dish. We cooked at home instead.More
