I took 5-6 of my friends to have some good Persian (Iranian) food - buffet style. The meal was okay to good. The kabobs were good, but the desserts were disappointing. To sum it up, it was worth the price of admission. Low price person to do all you can eat buffet style.

The only reason why I come to this place is the buffet and the only time I go there is when I am really hungry and not in the mood for waiting for my dish to arrive. The food is acceptable albiet far for being authentic Iranian. Lamb kebabs are greasy but are okay I suppose but the chicken kebab... More

Visited the Al Athaiza branch on Friday evening with friends and we were very disapointed with the Iranian manager and his behavior. He was very insulting and totally unprofessional towards all of us, like he didn't want us to be there. The food was average, not anything special comparing to other iranian reataurants. The prices were above average and the... More

Visited at Al Athaiba branch on Friday night with friends and we were very dissappointed with the manger's behavior. He was very insulting with totally non professional behavior. I suggest to the owner to replace him. The food was acceptable, not anything special for iranian cuizine. The prices were above average.

For a little buffet they put out some great food! I highly recommend the lentil soup. good food at a reasonable price, authentic Iranian food isn't always easy to get so it was a nice change.

We ate here on Friday night. The buffet was good - large selection of freshly prepared food but plates are cold so food gets cold very quickly. My husband ate from the menu- a small starter and very good lamb and Barberry rice but portions were absolutely enormous. Impossible to macke an impression on it! Very reasonable price in what... You have the usual Lebanese appetizers (Hummus, Mutabal, Taboula...etc) and all of decent quality and I really liked the platters of fresh vegetables and white goat cheese on the side very refreshing. For main course choices you have good range of Iranian/Middle Eastern main dishes including Iranian Kebabs (meat & chicken) and good yogurt tikka and 2-3 types of rice... More

Al Bait Al Iran or (Irani House) as they call it, is an Iranian restaurant. They have 3 branches in Muscat. I have already been to the one located at Alkhuwait next to Zawawi Mosque and the one at Alghubrah behind Almeera hypermarket formerly known as Safeer. They offer a wide assortment of Iranian specialties in an open buffet display.... More
