Visited on a Monday evening to celebrate my late Mothers birthday. Obviously a very poignant and emotionally charged visit. I'd read the reviews and to be brutally frank very few of them did the venue, food and staff justice. On arrival we enjoyed a drink...More

Sat outside in the terrace garden with the dog, wonderful friendly service, truly scrumptious food, delightful house rose, jolly chats/exchanges with the other people there, we couldn't have been happier. Pink Southrop lamb recommended along with the Aztec Tempura Broccoli. Really.

We've eaten at the Swan over the last couple of years and had several great evenings there. It only gets better and we had such a superb meal with great service.

Recently booked for an anniversary lunch. It was ok, but lacked any atmosphere at all. Yes, the service was good, but then again we seemed to be the only ones there. The food was a bit mediocre especially for the very inflated prices charged. We...More

Having visited here to meet up with friends last year we all thought it would be a good idea to repeat it as it was not to far a detour from our trip home. Well what can I say, the difference was noticeable from the...More

Thank you for your enquiry. We do indeed welcome well-behaved dogs (with not too muddy paws) in both the bar and the restaurant at The Swan, and look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friend in the near future.
