We visited here on our holiday. The food was absolutely delicious and we can't fault it! However some of the staff are EXTREMELY rude if you are a tourist. Slam drinks down, go out of there way to ignore you. We had also been told we could wait for a table for food, we were waiting about 40 minutes and a group of locals came in and sat to wait and got put on a table before we did. We are happy to wait but that was rude. I'm very disappointed as it is was my first time visiting croatia and the staff and there bitterness towards tourists (English in particular) has definitely ruined this for me. Definitely did not feel welcome.

We have been there twice during our holidays
Waiting for a table is a bit long, we will direct you to the bar for a drink in the meantime.
The dishes are very hearty, to the point where it is sometimes difficult to finish them.
We ate well there (grilled calamari, fried calamari in particular)
The lighting is a little light in the evening, do not hesitate to ask for a small lamp in the middle of the table

The restaurant is in a nice location close to the shore. When we arrived there was a group of locals singing at their table which created a great atmosphere.
Unfortunately it went downhill from there. The food wasn’t great. Seafood and cuttlefish risottos were big portions but not a lot of fish or flavour. Pizza was average.
Our waiter was quite unfriendly so overall it wasn’t a great experience.

Amazing place for seafood, service was great - friendly and respectful waiter!
Portions were big and worth the money! My husband had a great stuffed chicken and we shared a chicken salad, which was fresh and delicious as well. The absolutely best seafood risotto i’ve had until now. I would order it three more times if i could. Or order takeaway to Bulgaria!!!🙌

The location is very good, the restaurant is very large and well attended. The service was very attentive and a table was ready quickly. Unfortunately, the food was rather mediocre, the fish soup was more of a tasteless fish broth with minimal ingredients, the grilled calamari was bland, the chips were lukewarm

This restaurant was recommended by our friend, who is local and it was absolutely amazing, properly the best food we had during our week stay in Kastela.
The place is large and it was very busy, but we managed to get a table ( it helps when someone in your party is Croatian)
We shared the octopus salad ( wish I had it all to myself, it was that nice), followed by the salmon and shrimp tagliatelle, stuffed veal cutlet and a viennese schnitzel, mixed salad and bread.
OMG it was so delicious.
The wine was lovely too, a great combination with the food.
Staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient throughout.
An amazing atmosphere.
Only downside, wish we had found this place earlier, so we could have visited more times during our weeks stay.

The restaurant have a good location with a view over the water. But the atmosphere at the restaurant is not very cozy, mostly because of its big size with many tables. I liked the white linen napkins.
The menu has everything you can wish for, pasta, pizza, meat, fish, salads, omelet and more. But I think the price for the meat and fish dishes was expensive as it came without anything and you had to order/buy both vegetables, potatoes/fries/rice and sauce.
Food was ok but nothing special.
Service was both good and less good. The waiter (headwater?) was welcoming but the lady that served us stressed and impatient when we had questions about the menu.

Never got to eat here. We are a family of 8. Repeatedly told they don’t take bookings even though tables had reserve signs on them. Was told to come down and wait and have drink at bar and could see people had reservations. When after an hour I said I can see people have reservations was told to book 3 days in advance. Had tried to do this previously but was told couldn’t. Staff were rude and grumpy. Wonder if reservations were maybe for locals only. Who knows! but left and didn’t go back.

Just a quick visit in the afternoon to have a drink whilst out on a walk, one must keep hydrated (😂).
Really wanted a freshly squeezed juice as they sounded amazing, but not available until 7pm 🫣🫣
Then saw the smoothies, look great too but no luck either as only after 7pm 🫣🫣
Then my next go to would be cocktails ….Guess what ?? Yep only after 7pm 🫣😂😂
Saying that, our waitress was fabulous and had a great sense of humour, so ended up with Rum &Coke ❤️❤️
All and all we felt welcomed and staff was great, patient and full of smiles which I know isn’t easy .

The quality-price ratio could be much better. The staff waits a little longer and it wouldn't be bad if they were a little more at the guests' service. The location is excellent right next to the sea coast and the beach.

Wouldn’t give us a table because we’re English. Tried to walk in, and they said they were full. Although there were plenty of tables free. We even tried to reserve for a different evening, and said they were full. When on that evening we’d seen it almost empty. Speaking to locals, apparently this restaurant doesn’t like English people. An absolute shame.

What a place! This was brilliant find for us with incredible food at a brilliant price! The food was simply amazing among all 8 of us who visited! The whole bill was €200 and what greta value for money that way! I would 100% recommend this place!

We had to wait what felt like 2 hours on the food, no informantion what so ever.
waitor ok. But not very friendly, but again he was OK.

5/5!!! stopped in on our way to the airport… Beautiful beach, side, town… this restaurant was charming. Lots of outdoor seating and inside seating, staff was courteous and so efficient! Great menu, and great prices!! Open at 9am - til late!
