Staying local we have used this cafe restaurant twice already. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. The food and service are excellent and we would recommend. The only negative are the hundreds of cigarette butts near the outside tables, please clear them up or...ban smoking, it spoils a perfect experience.More

The specials menu was just that. Very special indeed. Fresh seafood. Excellently cooked. A splendiferous ginger red snapper and excellent local scallops and lobster. A great evening with good friends and great food.

What a surprise - delicious thai food at the bonne nuit beach! Seafood soup, sweet chilli ribs, red fish curry, stir fried squid .... - excellent! Thank you also very much for the extraordinary hospitality - we spent a wonderful evening at the bonne nuit...beach café.More

This is the first time reviewing anything. Totally the wrong attitude towards customer service. The salad was starting to brown plus a hair in the milk and our food order was wrong. The managers attitude was not great when this was bought to his attention!

Arrived for dinner around 7 pm. Sat outside overlooking enclosed harbour, which was lovely. Cafe did get busy after 7.30 pm. Our order was taken quite quickly and starters arrived within 15 minutes. However, after waiting for over an hour (8.30 pm) we were about...to leave when our main course arrived. They did apologise and gave us a pudding to share. If the cooks can't cope with the number of people in the evening then take away some of the tables. I would suggest reserving a table early.More

Only been here once before and that was for morning coffee last October. I was surprised when friends suggested it for a Thai Meal in the evening, however, I wasn’t disappointed. It is very much an informal Beach Cafe that serves meals at night, but...I thought it was excellent. They don’t currently have a drinks licence so you have to bring your own, so the drinks choice is yours entirely but it will save you money. I’m no expert on Thai food but I thought the menu choice was very good, the food excellent as was the the service.More

We were simply driving around the island on one of our last days of our 2 week holiday and didn't fancy driving down the rather steep road ,in the hire car, on a wet and windy afternoon, but decided to go for it . So...glad we did. This is really quirky eating place, set in a spectacular position on a very interesting little harbour. We only had coffee and cakes but would have liked to have returned for dinner. Unfortunately time was against us and we didn't get the opportunity to go back. I can vouch for the gorgeous aromas and the fact that the meals we saw coming out of the kitchen looked lovely. Another telling point were the number of locals who were eating - always a good sign.More

I took one bite of my burger and honestly nearly vomited. My friend had the same and his was just as bad. Four of us tried the burger and everyone agreed it tasted wrong. Unfortunately the staff didn’t seem too bothered.

The Tom Yum soup wasn't as good as my grandmother's! And she was from St Ouen not Thailand. Absolutely NO flavour. Chunks of chewy white rubber. I left three quarters. Wife enjoyed the satay chicken. Staff were friendly. Sit outside if you want to talk...as loud trance/ electronic music kills conversation. Setting is very picturesque. Sorry guys but it just wasn't any good!More

I think it bears testament to how few good restaurants there are in Jersey that some people actually think this restaurant is good; or maybe they have nothing to compare to. However in my opinion the food is terrible. Just awful. Dry white/grey looking "chicken",...ribs slathered in a bright orange "nuclear" coloured sauce. The list goes on. Very poor standards of cooking and cheap ingredients. Don't waste your money as M&S offer a better version of thai chicken.More

We didn’t know this was here. We were on a 12 mile walk, and around 6 miles in, we stumbled upon this place. And what a stumble it turned out to be. Absolutely fantastic location & food. It was a very hot day, we managed...to find a table outside with a fab view of the harbour. The Thai beef salad and the crab yellow curry, were simply sensational. A really standout memory from our weeks visit. We will return when we next visit jersey. Truly delicious food , in a very beautiful setting. ThankyouMore

Bonne Nuit café has a fabulous setting, overlooking the fishing harbour and beach. We sat outside on the terrace. It is basic, as a beach café typically is. The service was excellent and the food was superb. There is a range of English or Thai....You can bring in your own alcohol. There were a number of wasps, but when one of our group was stung the staff gave us a cream and ice pack, which was much appreciated.More
