Ordered takeout through their website, nearly three hours later and it still hasn’t shown up. Have been trying to get through on the phone for the last 2 hours and it just keeps ringing out. Time to see what’s in the freezer I think!
My first time at this restaurant. My wife booked it for my birthday meal and I was delighted with the food, service and the restaurant. We went for one of the set menus. The starter was a platter of mixed hors d'ouvres, all really well...presented and included spring rolls, sesame see toast etc. Each was perfectly cooked. We then had duck in pancake rolls which was followed by a really great range of mains which included meat, vegetable and fish dishes. The suite was banana fritter and ice cream.
The bill was about £140 for four which didn't include drinks so it wasn't cheap but given the quality of the food and standard of service which were both excellent, so that's fine by me and there was more than enough for four adults. Will definitely be going back.More
Got a takeaway of duck, curry and fish cakes. There was literally no meat on my duck, pure fat. The curry was all veg with about three lumps of chicken, and the fish cakes were like onion Bhajis? Nothing like we had hoped for. And...considering the prices it was even more a dissapointment, small portions and no rice with the curry- we asked for noodles instead of the potatoes and got given neither. Huge waste of money. Photos show all the fat that I had to cut off but the bits of skin still in the sauceMore
Found this place about 12 months ago following the closure of my favourite Thai Restaurant in Westerham and Sevenoaks. It’s usually very good here but have never seen it full for some reason. Have visited twice since the easing of restrictions and the food is...usually very good. Never had any real complaints. Tends to be slightly higher in price but well worth it really. Am becoming a regular diner there and always look forward to it.More
This used to be our best Thai restaurant but never going back. The restaurant is under new management. Went for dinner but Mr had a late lunch and just wanted to eat a starter. The rest of family ordered the buffet menu. But least did...we know that the waitress serving us will keep on checking if Mr was sharing our food upon request of the manager. It felt so awkward. People kept ordering the sizzling dish and the smoke was so overpowering with burnt chilli. We kept coughing and had to put mask on. The waitress said that there’s no windows or extractors and can’t open door as other customers will complain. The food was a bit salty but we didn’t tell waitress as husband wanted to get out of there and on new menu it said food wastage will be charged.
No alcohol is being served because the new management are of the Muslim community. They didn’t have the virgin cocktails we ordered too.
The place is not the same. Felt very awkward.More
I live in petts wood, I've been going here off and on for a few years now.
It's been getting less busy over the years and so is the standards.
Food was ok to poor at best, £4.50 for a small pineapple juice, (a joke)....£63 for 2 and no alcohol. Very poor standard, they never has customers, and I can see why!
Simply I can't recommend it, don't bother coming here. Unless you want to pay a high amount for not alot
I won't be back in a hurry!
Buy something from m&s insteadMore
