Too much of everything. 2.5 hrs turn to 4 hrs. Savory is not that impressive. The best one is only the croquet. The sweet consist maybe 70 percent of the 21 small dishes. The sweet parts were mostly chocolates. A nightmare when you have kids...with you. Service is great but very slow. Everything is overdo and the pocky copy just taste like pocky.More

I drove past this place after dinner, it caught my eye and I’m so glad I stopped! The restaurant is very warm and welcoming, with a vegetable garden and great music. And the desserts you just have to try! I had the chocolate one because...that’s a good place to start, but I want to go back to try them all. A really gourmet experience in a great setting, worth a visit for sure.More

My wife and I recently shared this amazing experience with four (4) other friends of mind this past weekend as we wanted to venture up to Ubud. The flavors, the ambiance, and the passionate staff made this dinning experience Epic even during these challenging times....We were very impressed with the local ingredients and how well they where blended in our dishes. Chef Will is very creative and you can really tell that his team loves what they do. The place has a nice warmth to it. Highly recommend when you are in Ubud.More

We did the 21 courses menu with pairing, which means that it includes half glasses of cocktails they fitted to the menu. When we arrived, we started with a tour of the garden where they explained a lot about the plants, which was very interesting....Afterward we started with 7 little appetizers at the bar. You can watch the staff prepare each dish and they explain where the inspiration for this came from, what is in it.. After that we moved to the main restaurant for the next 7 dishes, that were more like desserts. Those 7 included the paired cocktails, which were very good. For the last 7 dishes, we moved to a table in the garden. All in all I think it was well worth the money. Even though it is pretty expensive, especially if you choose the pairing with cocktails, it was probably the best food I have ever eaten, the staff was extremely nice and explained a lot and I would deffinetly recommend it to everyone!More

An unbelievable experience, like no other. The staff are professional, friendly and clever. We went for the cocktail pairing combo - just wow! you won’t be disappointed! Highly worth the 2hours drive or the 3 hour flight from Perth. Would give 6 stars if I...could!More

Having watched the Netflix program about this chef, we booked well in advance of our travel. Not really sure what to expect, we arrived on time and were immediately given a tour of the gardens where ingredients for drinks and desserts are grown. We were...then given a seat at the bar where we had cocktails and delightful savory 'bites'. These painstaking creations were whimsical and delicious....and finished far too soon! We were soon led through the bar/kitchen area to the other side of the restaurant where we chose which menu of desserts we wanted to try. Originally, we were given 2 seats at the bar, but with having a birds-eye view of the toilet where no door seemed to stay closed, we asked to move. They were more than happy to seat us at a table. Our desserts were inventive, beautiful, and not too sweet. Again, we were finished far too soon. We opted to retire to the patio area to have yet another dessert which was magnificent. Would we recommend this restaurant? Absolutely. Would we go back? Probably.More

for open minded people who enjoy the dining experience. What R4D offers is something unique. Service is impeccable, something that is rare to find in Indonesia (I live here and have had bad experience with service elsewhere), so I'm glad to see the ability and...skills gained by that team. Overall experience very good!More

21 courses, with 7 cocktail pairings, and two happy diners. The menu was inventive, doesn’t take itself too seriously, and grounded in the location. The garden tour at the beginning set the tone of a place where the staff genuinely enjoy their roles and food....To be honest, I’ve read some of the negative reviews here and it seems most people who are disappointed expected something that this restaurant is not. You won’t get ginormous portion sizes or dishes that are ‘clever’ for the sake of it.More

The dessert tasting menu for 2 people with tax and gratuity is about $80 total US dollars. There is also a cocktail pairing offered for around $40. Enjoy!
