I had the starter of melanzane and the main of funghi tagliatelle, it was delicious. I would recommend!

We arrived for lunch at about 13:30 on a Saturday. Nicola welcomed us as if we were family, and we had an amazing lunch cooked by his mother. The special of the day was handmade gnocchi with tomatoes and mozzarella. Because I showed enthusiasm for both the special and a spaghetti with eggplant dish, he suggested we have the gnocchi... We ate homemade cannelloni (paradise!) and vegetables. We still remember the tasty bread. Wine was good and the price reasonable. If you're in or around Sessa Aurunca don' forget to stop by... More

Wonderful lunch, discovered the restaurant by chance. The host was gracious and explained what the restaurant had to offer at lunch time. We are vegetarian and the meal was perfect.

You've got to try this restaurant! Good food, good ambience and owner is very friendly! 😄😄😄 The grilled vegetables are very good. So was the prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella. Gelato cake is also a must-try! The owner was very friendly and the staff too.

We have travelled to Italy many times and found that local trattoria's offer the best food at reasonable prices, La Nicola was no exception. I always look on trip advisor before travelling in the hidden gem section and seek out these wonderful places. We did have a little trouble finding this restaurant as it is down an alley, luckily I... More

This is a very local down-to-earth place that basically doesn't have the menu. The food is honest, tasty and inexpensive. We specifically liked the pizza diavola and the atmospheric setting of tables beneath the arch on a pedestrian street.
