We took our grandsons for a walk alone the marina and stopped off for lunch here. Me and my wife had a cream tea which was great and good value but there was not much choice for the grand kid and their meals were expensive .The staff were quite friendly but the meals for the children took a long time... A welcome visit after a walk along the river and was a pleasant experience. Good service and food, a little pricey for what it was, but all good. Lovely views across the marina and a nice atmosphere inside (probably worth a 'good' rather than a 'very good' rating). Not sure why the shop was incorporated with the eating, as there... More

Tables were good and the restaurant warm and comfortable, great views of the marina, especially when the tides coming in. Food was a little on the pricey side but good, service ok, but not keen on the trip outside to the toilet

Price increases last year bowl of chips&cheese £2.25p this time around small bowl £4.45p. Utterly shocking. Two children 7-5 to share almost 15 chips with cheese shocking. It's a pain paying by card. Need to take a slip over to another desk to pay??? Food expensive. Customer experience poor need to lower prices for families. Never seen a meal deal???... More

Good location when able to sit outside as it looks over the marina. We just had coffee and cake. Rather on the expensive side. Worst factor was the ladies toilet which needed a good clean.

Was going to have something.light but I love fish platters. They had a special on.of seafood basket for £8.95. As you can see from the picture it came with salad and loads of chips. I.managed the seafood and a bit of salad but was stuffed. My husband had ham egg x 2 and chips. The ham.was lovely and thick and... More
