Stopped by for their lobster rolls which used to be the best, They cut the amount of lobster down, put it in a larger roll and spread it out (roll was grilled in a ton of butter and very greasy) and overcooked it so it was tough and rubbery, At this time, lobster is not very cheap and dinner for... After hearing good things about the seafood here clams being the best I decided I would give it a try. Nothing like a super fried whole clam to start the summer in NE. After spending $17 plus on a solo serving of whole clams here I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Dry, crunchy, barely a belly on the clam and if you... More

This is one of those great little NH ice cream & sandwiches spots. Open only during the warm weather, it's popular with locals as well as people traveling to the Lakes Region or the White Mountains. The only problem can be parking. The small lot in front of the Dipsy Doodle fills from around noon until closing. You'll see lots... More

We went out to lunch and had the best seafood ever! The people there are really friendly and you can't beat the prices. We also had some great ice-cream that our kids loved.

I'm a huge ice cream lover and most of the places in my area offer a long list of flavors. The Dipsy Doodle was out of 5 different flavors and didn't leave too many other choices. One high point though was they DID offer Peppermint Stick which can be hard to find. Unfortunately, the staff was really lacking on this... More

Small road side place. Food is ok. Clams were chewy but onion rings were very good. Service was great! very nice people. Not at all the typical snotty high school kids. Very sweet. Large menu and loads of ice cream flavors as well.

I am surprised by some of the previous reviews. I've been enjoying the food at the Doodle for years and I have yet to have a bad experience. I here that they got new owners last year...the food and service is still just as good as ever and I don't find the prices to be at all high for a... More
