So many reasons to experience this restaurant: the building and grounds give an authentic country club vibe that feels a bit upscale yet casual with lovely decor, tablecloths, and friendly, attentive uniformed waitstaff. Our second time dining here and certainly met all our expectations. All four of us had generous portions of the Friday BOGO special which was delicious fish with steak fries and coleslaw. And did I mention the cocktail selections? You have to get their peach sangria!

We have eaten here often and have always been satisfied except for our last time 3 weeks ago. Dined on a Monday night when they offer the All You Can Eat Steak/Prime Rib Buffet for $29.99 per person. This is the first time we were disappointed with the food. The prime
Rib was mostly fat, the Chateau was good, the Steak tough .They used to serve Sweet Mashed Potatoes,Baked Sweet Potatoes as well as Regular Mashed & Baked Potatoes. This night all they had was Mashed Potatoes & one Pan of Mixed Vegetables. They did have coconut Shrimp, which was good, along with Peel & Eat Shrimp. The Chowder was just ok. But the Service was something that we really should have complained about. First when we sat down we already purchased two drinks at the bar while we were waiting for our table. We had 5:45 reservations and we called at 6:15 for our table. There was 4 of us dining. While 2 of us went up to the buffet our other friend sitting with her husband , tells the waitress to bring another Arnold Palmer Iced Tea for my friend who is up getting her meal, who’s glass was empty. The waitress says “ Before I bring another one I’ll have to check with the bar to verify that this one was already paid for!!!” The 2 of us return with our food to the table and say did you tell the waitress to bring another Iced Tea. That is when we learned she didn’t bring another one because she has to make sure the empty one was actually paid for!!! Needless to say we were Very Upset by this. Another 15 minutes goes by before the waitress comes back to the table. Now I tell her I have the receipt for the ice tea & my martini that were paid at the bar! My girlfriend & her husband decide he will have the buffet & she ordered a great salad from the regular dinner menu, because she is dieting. Her husband placed One raw shrimp on her salad plate. The waitress comes finally with the Iced Tea and notices the One shrimp on my friends plate…. She says Very Rudely “Miss you’ll have to take that shrimp off your plate and don’t eat it , or I will have to charge you the full price of the buffet”!!! We all looked at her & held back what we wanted to say. Take into mind that we were all dressed up because we were going to see The Atlantic City Boys perform at The Savana Center after dinner! I was going to get up & speak to the manager, but instead of getting her fired which she should be , we decided to Tip Her according to her Horrible Service & Attitude . We always leave 20% or More when we get good service but Not this time!! We will still go back to Glen View again but on a different date night.

Hello, My Team is trained to make sure guests aren't taking food from the buffet when they are not participating in the buffet. I am sorry if you took this the wrong way, but on busy nights such as our buffet night my team is trained to be on top of these things. Just as making sure drinks are being paid at the bar when moving to a table so that the bartender isn't ending the night with an open tab. I apologize if you felt you weren't treated kindly as that is never how my team wants our guests to feel. We also have multiple sides on our steak night, but they do change weekly so you will not always see the same sides. Thank you for the feedback and hope you understand the reasoning for our team asking questions regarding the buffet.

Great German food but even better customer service! Our first visit to the clubhouse restaurant. We opted to dine outside in an attractive outdoor dining area with views of the grounds.
We started with a pretzel with cheese as an appetizer-large serving! We continued with items off the Thursday night special German menu. Our food was served hot from the kitchen and our server Sandra was very accommodating and pleasant. The wine pour was generous and we had a very leisurely dining experience.
We were joined by Brian, one of the managers who asked how our food and our service was.
We ended the evening with a takeout order of some of the best carrot cake we’ve ever had.
We will be back!

There were six of us and we all agreed that we won’t be returning. The waiter had to look at notes to see which guest ordered coffee (everyone got water with 4 getting coffee). Since it was a buffet nothing else was ordered. The coffee I’m told was warm but not hot and he never offered a refill. A few asked for a new cup of hot coffee half way through the meal (that was only warm like first cup). Not sure if it was the time of day that had most food items in the condition they were in (10:45 am). Nothing was at the hot temperature except things made to order or prime rib if you asked for it to be cooked a little more. One patron at buffet asked employee if the meat marked ribs was ribs & they said kinda. The biscuits had dried up gravy over them so I didn’t even try. The salad bar was a bowl of lettuce, bowl of slivers of red onion, bowl of sliced cucumber with big pour bottles of blue cheese & ranch sitting in water with melted down ice. Everyone said the prime rib was just ok and it had too much salt on the outside edges. The aujus consisted of a big pot with tons of onions and slight beef stock. No mashed potatoes for the prime rib which I thought everyone served them with prime rib. The cooked to order omelets were good. The carrot cake was good but the frosting was a little too sweet for me. They offered bacon, sausage, wedged potatoes, cooked apples, eggs Benedict and shrimp cocktail. I was surprised that I didn’t see anybody eating the shrimp. Not sure if it tasted bad or what, but I didn’t try it either. The atmosphere and view of the golf course was nice. Very disappointing because after paying over $100 for three of at a buffet we all left disappointed and hungry. Went ahead and tipped 20% to server but he barely deserved 10%, he was in no way Country Club quality.

Great atmosphere and staff. But even better food. Sandra was our server and she was spot on. Have been looking for a place for 6 months with a great prime rib and finally found it. The buffet is absolutely ridiculous and the chefs that carve the prime and steaks are super friendly and not shy at all with the slicing. I've been eating prime for over 30 years and this is in my top 5 in the country. Got a visit to our table from both managers as a courtesy. Best value for your money I've ever seen. This place is amazing.

Night started rough! When we arrived we asked to be seated on the patio, a girl presented herself as our server but never returned .The patio was fairly busy so we understood there might be some wait but 15 mins later still nothing when a great young lady by the name of Sandra stopped at our table to check in on us when we informed her we had not seen our server since the initial hello. Sandra informed us that our server was a bit busy and that she would help her out by taking our drink order and having her server bring it. Sandra took our order as we were three at the time waiting on six more approximately another 15 minutes past , when in passing Sandra looked at our table and saw that there were no drinks and asked, were we waiting on Another round . We informed her our server never brought us anything. she apologized greatly and said she was going to check in to see what was going on,a minute or two passed when there she was back drinks in hand and informed us that she would be taking over our table and we were delighted at this point. The other gentleman arrived Their drink orders were taken and brought to the table in a very timely manner, our order was taken we were delivered warm bread and a couple more rounds of Drinks when our food arrived although we had complicated orders everything was correct and tasted delicious. We are so glad we took the suggestion to go with the surf and turf Night . Although Sandra herself was extremely busy, she made us feel as if we were her only table. We spoke to a manager and sang her praises. But wanted to leave this review, so others could know if you go to GlenView country club make sure to ask for Sandra! Hands-down, the best service we’ve had!

Mike and Terry were performing outside we started inside at the bar. Beautiful atmosphere magnificent bartenders that know exactly what they're doing and how to make a great cocktail. We went outside sat at the bar watch the show was fabulous and I ordered a hamburger which was the best hamburger I've had in year!; the service is impeccable very professional and upscale. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with A touch of Elegance that I really prefer in a restaurant. Everyone is so nice here that works here and everyone is happy to help you with whatever your question may be. Ladies room was immaculate and well taken care of. The food is superb. Everyone that ate with us enjoyed their meal. Whatever we asked for was never a problem and they brought it to us with a beautiful smile and Fabulous waiters and waitresses. I think this restaurant and red sauce are two of my very favorites. Which makes sense as they're both owned by the same owner and he seems to have great knowledge and a professional attitude when it comes to running and owning a restaurant and his staff and chefs. Everything is superb and I really and truly like red sauce and the Glenview restaurant and country club. If you wish great service and fabulous food red sauce and Glenview are the best in the Villages.

My husband and I had dinner with our friends at Glenview Country Club last night. I had the Teriyaki Salmon, it was rich in flavor and paired perfectly with the risotto and broccoli. The other 3 had the all you can eat steak special. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Kristi took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed and kept our table tidy, removing all the unused dishes quickly. The renovations to the building look beautiful. A perfect country club setting. We look forward to trying another nightly special at Glenview Country Club.

We had a great meal tonight. An all you can eat meat lovers delight buffet with prime rib, rib eye, lamb, 3 kinds of shrimp, soup, salad... all for $30. And the best waitress SANDRA!!! I wish ALL waitresses & waiters could be as nice!

My wife and I got the ribs, they were so delicious and do do meaty we both loved them. With onion rings and French fries the best, would definitely order again Our friend had the salmon with the sauce, she said was the best. Our waitress we had was Terri best ever very personal and helpful and she had trainee. They both were great .. will definitely come back

Went to Glenview Country Club restaurant for the first time. We loved it, our food was delicious and plentiful. It was extremely busy when we arrived on a Friday evening, so it took a little time for our food to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. I got the blackened chicken pasta and it was so tasty, I would come back to get it again. My spouse got the all you can eat Friday fish special and enjoyed it very much and wants to come back again. Service was very good and the atmosphere is lovely, but it was a bit noisy being that every table was full. We plan to come back for the delicious food and generous portions.

Had a great lunch experience here. My husband and I came here after leaving another restaurant because no one waited on us for 10 minues after being seated. As soon as we were seated at Glenview, Sandra, the waitress, came to our table and within 5 minutes we had our drinks and soup we had ordered. Our entre came soon after. We've been to Glenview several times in the past and are always pleased with the food and service.

Oh my gosh! Had such a wonderful New Years Eve service from Shaun at their terrace bar. Fuzzys vodka cocktails, Lobster, Prime Rib were delicious and a surprise desert slice of towering high chocolate cake was presented to us to make this experience amazing. On 10/10/23 had dinner reservations for 8 at 5. Horrible service, got our food at 6:30. We were late for our show at Savannah. Owner, Jack contacted me the next day, said “I know we dropped the ball” asked us to come back for a VIP Dinner on him. We returned on 10/25. Once again, horrible experience. They were out of soup, Mahi Mahi, green beans, and risotto. Substituting items without asking. Food was cold. Then the waitress brings desserts in to go containers, she did offer to plate them since we never asked for them to go.
This restaurant needs better management!

I do realize that everyone is short staffed including management. I made a reservation three weeks ago for four indicating anniversary, first time there, would like a view. The manager never even looked at the reservation, sat the 4 of us down in the corner of the room with all paper shades indicating do not touch shades! I asked to move to at least one table over to see outside. Waitress said we have no water glasses, I can’t find any. I have only been here two weeks and I really don't’ need to work here. Drinks were so completely messed up as server said it was so noisy she didn’t hear what we were saying. The waitress brought us one plate of food. What is this? We never ordered yet. Another half hour went by and I said “would you please take our order”. My husband ordered the one pasta disk on the menu of five items. He got the wrong pasta which was off the menu and the waitress said it is an up charge. What are you talking about? We didn’t order this. As we were leaving, I noticed we NEVER GOT AN ACTUAL MENU just a five-item special menu. It was bizarre, super loud as you can’t have a conversation. The few servers that do well are way over worked. The entire experience was… pretty bad. It would be a gem with the right management and servers.
