Delicious Italian Food and great service and high quality entertainment on Friday evening. Salmon grilled to perfection, fantastic lamb shank, mussels with delicious red sauce and many other outstanding food items. The owner managers are amazing to watch as they coordinate the food orders and trays of appetizers and entree’s to be delivered to tables with ease and expertise. The food is served as ordered and hot. The server was excellent. They were very busy but did not rush us. Good idea to have a reservation. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

I go to Red Sauce monthly and I am never disappointed in taste, service, price and quantity. I particularly enjoy their mussels and calamari. These two appetizers together make for a great meal if you happen to like these items. The mussels come with toasted bread for dipping in their delicious tomato and onion red sauce. Bar prices are more than fair and entertainment is available on most days.

Great Italian food and great service. Had the meat Lasagna. Outstanding especially when you add a little extra meat sauce! ROB was our bartender AND our server coming out from behind the bar to take care of us. Great customer service. Now if only Lobster prices would come down so they can get lobster ravioli back on the menu!!!

My dining companion and I went to Red Sauce with high expectations after reading several positive reviews on Trip Advisor. My companion ordered spaghetti and meat balls and I had the rigatoni with meat sauce and a side ceasar salad. She said her meat balls were flavorless and disappointing. My ceasar salad was room temperature and the romaine was not crisp and soaked with dressing. The meat sauce on my pasta was ground meat that is difficult to describe. Rather than fresh Italian bread to accompany the salad and pasta, a wierd herb bread product was served. There are better places to dine in The Villages for the price.

So, I've dined in at Red Sauce before Covid-19 in December of 2018 and left a great review of this place. Oh, how things change. Fast forward to July 2020. I called and placed the order for carry out. I asked the young lady if the bread that comes to the table while dining in would be included in our carry out. If not, I had no problem paying for bread. She reassured me that bread would be included. When my elderly 70 year old mother and I pulled up to Red Sauce to pick up the order, it was pouring rain. We parked in the front. We had to walk through the restaurant soaking wet to the bar to pay. The bar staff showed us the side entrance and said we could have avoided walking through the restaurant if we had parked there. The girl who took the order over the phone NEVER told us this! When we got our order home, there was NO BREAD, and my Penne Vodka was half the size it would have been served in the dining room. I know this, because I've had it before a few times in person. I know that this carry out thing has been tough on restaurants that normally don't do carry out due to Covid-19, but Red Sauce needs to step up their game in this department.

Red Sauce had been our go-to restaurant but after the last 3 visits it’s off our list. They used to serve food with flavor. Their shrimp scampi included 5 large shrimp plenty of garlic some red pepper and fresh herbs. Not anymore - tasteless, tiny frozen shrimp that taste like frozen, no flavor. Too bad.

I was given a $20 gift card for Red Sauce which was why I ordered from them. On June 21st in the evening, I ordered an Antipasti Misti and a Margherita pizza to go. When I arrived the girl took my gift card and $20.00, upon her return she said it covered everything except 7 dollars and that was my change. Now $13.00 each for appetizer and pizza, plus tax should have had me under $28.00. It was very loud by the host/greeter desk and I did not wish to have a disagreement over a couple dollars. I told her to keep the rest as well and took my food and left. Maybe they have a takeout fee I'm unaware of. 2 stars because even though the food was good they left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never patronize this establishment again.

Hello Jeff, apologies about your experience - Am unsure where the issue arose but would love to try and sort it. The Anti pasta misto is $12, and the Margherita pizza is $13.00, totaling $25.00 the remainder being tax and any tip if such was left, so these items would be above the $20 gift card. If you can send us your phone number we would be happy to call and figure out what happened. Thank you

My husband and I chose wisely to go to Red Sauce last night. They are correctly practicing Covid rules, except no paper menus. They have hand sanitizer at the table. And the food is excellent! I am Italian and a very experienced gourmet cook. Their red sauce is spot on. We both ordered chicken parmesan with a side a penne pasta and grilled vegetables. There were fresh herbs everywhere. We loved the chicken because they did not smother it in cheese. The chicken was juicy and tender. The vegetables were the best I have had in any restaurant. I ordered a Caesar salad and it was apparent the dressing was home made. Plus you can get it with anchovies if preferred. They sell their dressings. They served 2 different breads with sun dried tomatoe butter and a second butter which we did not get around to. And the portions are extremely generous. There are not very many great restaurants in The Villages, so having Red Sauce here is even more important to this Italian!

someone really has to explain how this stuff is Sicilian. I'm highly insulted. Aside from the hostess staff is snotty, food subpar, I and my family have to be insulted by the claim that this menu is Sicilian? I found nothing worth going back for, like most eateries in The Villages - tuned for unknowledgeable old people

Hello there, We wanted to apologize for your experience as the etiquette & service you experienced is absolutely not to our standard, we have talked with the staff to address issues and would love to have the opportunity to have you back. We are not a Sicilian restaurant by any means, our theme is American - Italian, and apologies if someone misled you to think this. Hope we can see you back in, please send us a message to discuss further. Thank you and have a great night.

Tried the penne pasta with beef, pork, and veal in a bolognese sauce, a mild flavor, and very filling; also very good! The side salad was a variety of tasty greens, Italian tomatoes and olives in a vinagret dressing. Also tasty. For dessert, ordered the tiramasu that all but floated off the plate to dissolve in the mouth. Yum, yum. Place was very busy, but service was prompt.

Super delicious meal, fabulous service, staff all wore masks. We went early to avoid the crowd and allow for social distancing. Chicken francais was superb. I asked for the pasta to be on the same plate as the chicken rather than served separately with a different sauce and it was not a problem. Dinner was ready quickly. Our server Mike was friendly and knowledgable.

David was our server and did an excellent job. Drinks were quickly refilled, orders were taken and delivered promptly, special requests were cheerfully accommodated. The manager, Ashley, stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well. She was very pleasant and was sincerely interested in making sure we had a great experience at Red Sauce. Good job, Ashley and David!

After three months of going out with friends for dinner on Friday nights and getting lousy service every time we went to Red Sauce. It was very busy, and the staff was working their butts off, but our server Christiane took the time to learn all of our names the first time she visited our table. Our drink orders were filled quickly, and our glasses were never empty because of the attentive service. The food was hot, tasty, and promptly delivered. We were treated like we were the most important people in the restaurant, the service could not have been better. The manager Ana stopped by before the checks were delivered to make sure everything was good. It was far from good; it was the best dinning experience we've had in a very very long time. The entire staff understands the concept of customer service, something most restaurants seem to have lost of late. Headed by for dinner again Friday night, can't wait.

My lovely wife and I had lunch here yesterday taking advantage of the BOGO coupon. She had the Chicken Marsala w/risotto and fresh steamed veggies. I had the Chicken Parmigiana w/penne pasta and marinara sauce, and the veggies. Our pretty server, Loanny, brought us a bread basket w/several different kinds of breads and spreads. Loanny was very friendly, personable and attentive. Everything was delivered hot and in a timely manner. We'll be coming back here sooner than later and would request Loanny section if she's available. Ron

Tonight we sat with a pretty big group of people and Autumn was our waitress. She was very efficient and although I was not a big fan of the chopped antipasto salad she went and got the manager Ashley that quickly came to the table to see what she could do. I am on the keto diet so my options for other meals were limited. Ashley recommended the caeser salad and told me that the dressing was made in house which I could certainly tell. She also offered to add chicken to the salad as well which was a great option for my diet. Ashley got the salad out so quick that I was able to eat with everyone else at the table. What a great choice and what a great place!!
