We didn't notice the closed sign so when we sat down the host raced over from where he'd been chatting outside with his friends and told us to vacate the seats - despite they're being customers around us. I explained that we were just after...a drink, but he responded aggressively asking why we couldn't read the sign on the door. When we said we understood and that we'd go, he hoovered over us until we had got all things together and said "Come On! Come on!" I was in shock at how unnecessarily rude he was.More

We came last year and couldn’t wait to visit again! We were not disappointed! A very warm welcome, amazing views over Ghar Lapsi and food is absolutely delicious! If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, in a serene setting, overlooking the Mediterranean then you...must visit here! Food is amazing so much so we were reluctant to write a review as don’t want to end up not getting a table in future, however the hard work that must go on behind the scenes and the excellent culinary skills need to be acknowledge! Great spot for quick beers, ftira & chips after swimming - the seafood platters we saw going past all looked amazing but we were only after a quick snack today but would certainly come back to try more another day.

We were recommended Carmen's from a friend for seafood, and when we arrived we are so surprised. The restaurant is located right next to the sea, with fantastic swimming areas. The location is truly fantastic, but even better is the actual food. The seafood pasta...was delicious and very good price. Highly recommend.More

Went for lunch. The owner said that he only serves fresh produce and he did not dissapoint. Ordered the swordfish, it was very moist and well prepared with herbs. Loved it. It's also a great place to stop by for food and drinks after swimming...at Ghar Lapsi.More

Beautiful setting and delicious fish/ seafood lunch. Most clientele appeared to be local, as it is quite a secluded location, next to a natural swimming pool. Amazing food. Great view. Owner is very friendly and approachable. We had an amazing experience. We picked a variety of dishes such as scallops, prawns, oysters, calamari fritti together with a bottle of white wine. We set at a table with an amazing view- enjoying...nature at its best. Hidden gem. Small restaurant in a small bay, run by father and daughter. The best seafood I've eaten in a long time, prepared with love and dedication. Great service. First class quality. Fair prices. If I was a little smarter, I should have kept this...place a secret. Go there. Try it out. You will not regret it. I'm putting this lovely place at the top of my list in Malta.
