A traditional fish taverna by the sea in tiny little resort called Siviri. It’s open all year round and has been there forever. Traditional decor, fabulous choice of freshly caught fish , plentiful salads and generally generous portions. Frequented by locals from all over and...especially from the city. Highly recommend - if you want a taste of real Greece!More

this is by far the best fish tavern in Peloponnesus, no doubt about, supreme quality, view of the port of Gerakas fantastic! You can enjoy fresh ingredients salads all kind of fish (depends on catch of the day) that is impossible to find anywhere all...over Attiki ! Finally when the bill comes you will not believe it ! Best value for money.More

Lovely location, friendly staff, fresh seafood, very good service, excellent value for money. Unfortunately they didn’t have lobster, but all the dishes that we tried were mouthwatering.

We arrived by boat. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the town quay. There were only 2 tables occupied - it was a Sunday evening. The menu is quite short - 38 items in total - half appetisers and half mains. There are 3...meat options - the fish options included crab risotto, a clay pot with crab, shrimp as cuttlefish, catch of the day - Small fish. Unfortunately there was no crab or small fish. So all those options were out. We ate to start Taramasalata - delicious which they brought some amazing hot bread drizzled in oil with hot olives. We also had a thin pie filled with spinach - fab. Described as filled with herbs After my hubby had pasta with shrimps (frozen) and I chose the starter of crab shrimp and cuttlefish (without the crab). Both were lovely but huge so we left quite a bit. With a 1/2 litre wine it was €37.More

Everything was exceptional!!! Service, food, environment were all fantastic and amazing. The seafood was super fresh. Its a little bit far from Monemvasia, but trust me its really worth it. Must try the carpaccio!! The best time to go its before the sunset around 6-7...o clock.More

Everything was delicious and fresh, but the fish roe pate was out of this world. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back someday.

We were in Monemvassia for Christmas and wanted to have a special Christmas dinner - away from delightful but touristy Monemvassia. We knew Gerakas and looked up restaurants in the area. Diamantis came highly rated and made a booking for Christmas Day. We visited earlier...in the day and chose the fish we’d have that evening - that fish was cooked in salt and professionally filleted at the table. The other dishes were one of the best taramosalata I’ve ever tasted in my life and other mezedes. With a kilo of rose wine - it came to a very reasonable €40. The waiter was very friendly. And everything was smooth. I can’t fault it.More

The place was recommende to us by our guesthouse as a very good fish tavern. When we arrived it was very busy and we had to wait a while until we got the menu and were asked what we wanted to order. This took 30...minutes - so far so good, this can happen. But when we asked which fish they had - we were told that they had no fish at all, absolutely none, because the weather had been bad and they could not go fishing. Strange that there was a sign outside saying "fresh fish" and other taverns had fish and that the weather had been good the last days. More than disappointing, we do not recommend to go there.More
