Cascina Dani was recommended by the Airbnb we were staying at. Lunch was a 3 hour affair, with Zahra being our magician, bringing us the best that the Piedmont had to offer. The food, wine, and the company were exceptional. This area is not to...be missed in Italy---the wines from Villa Giada are also outstanding. Make sure to book a wine tasting at Villa Giada, too.More

My wife and I had the amazing pleasure to spend 5 days/4 night with Zahra and Andrea Faccio at Cascina Dani. The location is in the heart of the Piedmont and if you’re a wine lover, a food lover, a scenery lover – this is...for YOU! Five well-appointed and very private rooms, a beautiful dining room and lots of grounds for walking, sitting and wine tasting! Quiet and relaxing, we were able to enjoy our holiday at our own pace. Some days we ventured out-and-about exploring wineries, restaurants, scenic towns and amazing countryside. Some days we sat in the sun by the pool or inside by the fireplace. At any location we chose we enjoyed a bottle of Andrea’s amazing wines! Andrea and Zahra not only own the Cascina (farmhouse) but they also own three very distinct, award-winning wineries! Ask Andrea for a tour of his 1781 wine cellar that’s been in the family for 5 generations. Andrea knows wine – an internationally recognized sommelier and winemaker! Breakfasts included and they were so hearty that you never wanted for anything! And, make sure you reserve a table for dinner – the Cascina attracts a lot of locals for dinner which (IMHO) is worthy of a Michelin Star. Both Zahra and Andrea are conversant in multiple languages, which made our stay so easy. I cannot put into words what great hosts they were to us and I could see that Zahra went out of her way to extend that special touch to every guest. We’ve traveled the world … this was a true find! And, we’ll be back!More

We felt us very welcome - the atmosphere was warm and cosy. Food was good as well as the wines. The whole “package” is great (quality, price, service etc.). A big recommendation!

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from the hotel we were staying at as their restaurant was closed that evening. It didn’t disappoint. In fact it was wonderful. We were greeted by Zahra, the owner, who made as feel extremely welcome, we had a...set meal that was absolutely delicious paired with wines from their own vineyard that was equally marvelous, in fact we had to visit the vineyard the following day to take home some of their wines. Andrea, Zahras husband, showed us around the vineyard and explained how all the different wines were put into production. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return .More

Based on the reviews we went here (18 july 2020). Tables are set in the agriturismo's pool area. On hard wooden benches we waited very long for our dinner courses. A poached egg primo was merely a raw egg in a pea soup (2x). We...left them uneaten. The lamb appeared deep fried in a bread crumb jacket, and as it was very dark I needed my phone torch to see what I was eating and check for meat inconsistencies. A dessert of yoghurt mousse and fruttti di bosco clearly from the freezer and some (also frozen?) mashed basil leaves structure in between was of indefinable structure and not very appetising. I left this uneaten. We got a discount in the end which was a surprise because we have not complained and up till then there was no sign they noticed our disappointment.More

We had a fantastic lunch here. 4 courses with Spumante and wine. There was only one set menu. One of us had a vegetarian option. The food was great, the wine and the service as well. And what we then paid for it was incredibly...little. Arguably the best value for money I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. So a strong strong recommendation from me.More

We decided to do our wedding party with 51 international guests at Cascina Dani. Everything was perfectly organized and executed from the ceremony in the wine yard to the aperitif with snack buffet, the five course meal, the wonderful wines, coffe and grappas in the...upstairs lounge and then a late afternoon refreshment. All our requests were exceeded and kindly carried out. Not one guest had a complaint.... and by the end of the day we only received compliments. This is an outstanding place in the region. THANKS!!!More

We were introduced to this awesome place by Emma Robson from Bat & Bottle, she is hugely knowledgable and a great guide. Cascina Dani has very comfortable bedrooms and a much appreciated swimming pool. Andrea and Zara Faccio were extremely generous hosts. The wine is...tremendous and dinner was excellent. A memorable trip and we look forward to returning. We learnt so much about Andrea’s wine. The Moscato, Primovolo and Nizza Dedicato were real treats.More

We booked a table at Cuscina Dani based upon all the reviews and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome by Zahra and Andrea. We were greeted with a glass of the local sparkling rose and an appetiser before...being shown the menu. The food is locally sourced, family dishes which are presented beautifully and tasted amazing. We chose to have a mini wine tasting, all of which are local to the restaurant, and suited the food perfectly. The whole experience was amazing value for money and the service faultless. They even offered to drive us back to our hotel as we had cycled there. We went back the next day to buy the wines we had tasted, greeted very warmly once again by Zahra. We certainly hope to return next year!More

It's just one of the places you want to visit again and again...hospitality and friendliness from the moment we arrived, service outstanding, food marvelous and our daughters dessert was unbeatable, wines from own wineyards matching courses and surroundings outside next to the grapes just makes...this an unique experience. Thanks for making our dinner a special night out with the family. When we are enjoying a bottle of the wines we bought we are thinking back and have just one regret - not buying more....More

Genuinely think this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Wine to match every course, incredible service & food that was simply incredible! Thank you to Zara & Andrea x 2 for making it feel like we were the only people in the...restaurant when there were plenty of other people to look after! Being in hospitality, you are something to aspire to- congratulations on true hosting skills!More
