Having found the garden centre we were looking for following an advert in the local journal my wife and i came across this little coffee house. Unfortunately it was not featured in the garden centre advert, so we had no idea what to expect. As we had arranged for a meal elsewhere we just had a coffee and biscuits. The... More

If you own a cafe near a main road then I should imagine that people stopping to ask to use the toilet is a pain and I understand that proprietors have to maintain policies in that regards. However, my wife and I were returning from a short break and my 2 year old daughter was caught short. We spotted the... More

I had lunch with my daughter today for Mother's Day. We sat in the sunny conservatory and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Staff are friendly and welcoming and there was nothing left on our plates which says it all - delicious. We had the plain omlette with chips followed by Eaton Mess. Very Happy Customers :-) Afterwards, we walked the short... More

Quirky but quaint little cafe by the garden centre in Kinmel Bay. Nice conservatory seating area. Friendly and uniformed staff who were quick to order and serve us. All looked clean and tidy. Menu prices varied in that a bacon bap £3.50 and a jacket potato £6.50???? Garden centre opposite was like a huge department store with so much to... More

I have recently booked two luxury afternoon teas for groups of ladies. The first visit on 28th November was excellent. Staff pleasant . Today 19th December a different matter . On arrival I apologised and said it would be only 5 instead of 7 of us as the other two had just let me know earlier that they were unwell.... More

Always a lovely meal, friendly service. Christmas time is special. You have to walk round butterfly world which is transformed for Christmas . Tea and scones or cake is a must at the tea rooms

I recently visited butterfly's tea room with my husband. We were greeted by very friendly staff who were happy to help. I was amazed by the wide range of food and delicious cakes. My husband has a gluten intolerance and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of gluten free cakes to which he said were the best around. We will... More

Having been to the tea rooms in the past and being close to home, we took my disabled husband to the tearooms about 3.15pm. We only wanted tea and cake so that was fine. First problem - ramp has an adverse camber so is difficult to wheel a wheelchair up, then there is a one inch'double-glazing' lip at the door.... More
