We stayed in Eyam for a long weekend and had breakfast here on both mornings. It is a lovely quirky cafe with local crafts and produce for sale and there is a good selection of food. The cafe is can get a bit cramped when busy but we sat on the tables outside on the second morning which was better.... More

Stopped off here with a group of cyclists on a Sunday morning club run. We were all impressed with the generous size of the coffees we had and the cakes were fantastic too, with something to tickle everyone's fancy! Friendly service as well.

I was lucky enough to book a table for afternoon tea today (Mother's Day) as a treat for my mum...and we had the most wonderful time. Sara's touches give Cafe Village Green the edge and as a result the cafe exudes character, friendliness and a refreshing, unique environment. Her team are polite, attentive and coped calmly and admirably with what... More

Had a cycling stop off and had a latte and a bakewell pudding which came with clotted cream and some big strawberries. The coffee was really good and the bill £6.60.

Had coffee & a delicious almond slice while waiting for the rest of the group then an excellent jacket potato with beef chilli. Others had the spinach and feta pie. All came with salad & home-made coleslaw. All food was great as were friendly staff

Enjoyable lunch break here in this quirky, homely, cosy cafe. All staff really friendly. Latte was lovely - and a generous size. The goats cheese and gooseberry jam toastie was to die for and the salad and coleslaw accompaniment were tasty. As delicious as the cakes looked, there was no space to have one on this occasion. A return visit... More

There's two good cafes opposite each other in The Square in Eyam. This time we chose the Village Green. You can get a full range of meals from breakfasts, sandwiches and cooked lunches, and of course cakes and drinks. We went for the squash & pumpkin quiche with salad from the specials. It came well-presented, fairly quickly with a smile... More

Fab lunch very helpful staff answered allergy questions without any fuss and with a smile on their face. Plenty of food, good quality, well prepared. Offered to refill my tea with hot water without being asked, which was great. I would come back.
