Stopped off here for dinner while out on a long bike ride. I had phoned an hour earlier and ordered our food with a request that it was ready when we arrived at 6pm. When we got there we were given a warm welcome and we had our food and drinks within 5 minutes. Well done The Red Lion, that... More

What a fab wee find on the tourist route. Mother, husband and I were totally fortunate to get an early table fir dinner after our trip up to St Andrew's. You will not be disappointed with your visit here, it's wonderfully quaint with loads of pictures on the walls and if you land on your back the ceiling has plenty... More

I have visited a few times and dropped in for a family meal. Service was dire…..food nothing more than basic….bland in taste, after it took forever to arrive. It’s sad that the standards have dropped so much as it’s a fantastic location and cosy environment.

were new to trip advisor but felt we had to leave a review after visiting this little hidden restaurant. My family and I visited on Wednesday 12th August after recommendations from family and friends and we were NOT disappointed. The first thing we noticed was how busy and obviously short staffed they were but we were seated quickly and given... More

I visited this restaurant last night with my husband and children to celebrate my husband's birthday. We chose it specifically after reading the favourable Tripadvisor reviews and booked a table for 19.30hrs. We were seated fairly quickly and our drinks order taken and served. However, our food was a different matter. Despite ordering it at 19.45hrs our starter didn't arrive... More

We visited the red lion while visiting Culross on Wednesday night. We didn't book but were fitted in even though it was very busy for a mid week night. We had a little bit of a wait which was understandable due to the volume of customers but were not disappointed by the food when it arrived. The steak pie was... More

Stunning outside exterior drew us inside. and luckily its not one of those pubs that had a horrible remodel in the 70s/80s. Still lovely inside with warmth and charm and history. Friendly bartenders/staff. Good food with good quantity and basic pricing. Awesome womens restrooms are a MUST visit! won't ruin the surprise for you. We enjoyed our stay, had nice... More

I visited the Red Lion in Culross on Thursday 30th July. Service was extremely slow we used to eat here fairly regularly always enjoyed the £25 steak special but after not being here for about a year not up to expectations. Booked a table for 7.30 as I cannot eat later in the evening it took 40 minutes for order... More
