Let me say this first: this is NOT a restaurant; it's a farm, serving cold dishes in a beautiful location, using local products but the food service is definitely not typical traditional food. Wines are fine, not excellent though. Food usually includes salami, pecorino cheese, salad, bread and daily dish (in our case, cold pasta). Prices are definitely low, compared... More

We made reservations online about a week before our lunch and were greeted in a cute little village (thats how it feels). We were seated at the 'museo' which offers a 4 cours menu with drinks (wine and water as much as you could like) for only 25 euro's per person. The menu is amazing, fresh and typical for the... Delightful and inspiring, a visit to Fattoria La Vialla is a must for italophiles, foodies, oenophiles and bird watchers alike. We spent a week in May in one of their stone farmhouses eating, birdwatching, hiking, and learning about this incredible farm. They offer tours in English, German and Dutch which includes tasting their award-winning biodynamic and organic wines. For a... More

Would have been nice to see some locals, but guess we need to go elsewhere to find that. Ambiance nice, food was good, great wine. I personally did not like the chickens walking around and on the table, but that is personal.

We stumbled on this place when trying to find someplace open on a Monday for lunch. They have a variety of seating areas so while there are quite a few tables it doesn't feel crowded at all. We sat in the garden in the back, which you can't see when you first arrive. The menu is very simple - platter... More

After 5 years we made it back to one of the most beautiful places in Italy. Excellent staff, great views, amazing food/wine and days 'Under the Tuscany Sun.' If you can only visit it is a wonderful day trip but staying for a week will allow you to create memories for the lifetime. The experience is so amazing you will... More

A lovely picturesque farm yard, full of chickens and peacocks with trestle tables both outside and under cover... a very charming place to relax and have lunch . It was very busy here though when we visited, but they kindly put another table out for us. The lunch comes beautifully presented with plates of cold meats, bread, olives and dips.The... More

My husband and I visited here Oct 2014 by the recommendation of a local Italian. We were pleasantly welcomed by the staff and offered a free tour of their farm. They make their own olive oil, cheese, wine and baked goods along with serving a beautiful lunch under the trees overlooking the Tuscan Hills.......we will definitely be back
