Was in Nuenen for one night on business last week and was taken to this restaurant by a colleague. I wasn't disappointed, the food was great (the menu is completely in Dutch, though, but that didn't hinder me too much) Started with Ouzo, ended with...coffee and ice cream.
Will definitely visit again.More
This new Greek restaurant in Nuenen centre is an average one. The food is OK, the staff and owner very friendly, the wine might be a bit expensive, but you get an ouzo free when starting your meal and free french fries with your main...course. The interior, though new, is a bit old fashioned I would say and light from the outside is partly shielded by dark curtains. The owner thinks that dark is cosy, but I hate it. I admit that not all my friends will agree, but my wife does.Veggies will also some choice,so no problem.
Well, we were not disappointed having dinner there. We met people who came there already for a third time. So, donot stay away.More
Authentic Greek restaurant Greek music, Delicious food prepared by Greek cook. Such a warm atmosphere and a darling owner who put his whole heart to make this restaurant unique. Every time I'm there I'm feeling like I'm back in Greece ! Such a great and...delicious experience ! Warmly Recommended !More
This recently opened Greek restaurant is already drawing a crowd. This was our first visit, but it will certainly not be our last. Guests are greeted by the owner himself, Sakis Tsianakas, a very charismatic man. Then of course the traditional glass of ouzo to...start the evening off. The menu is quite complete with appetizers running around 9 Euros, main courses 15-20 Euros and desserts around 8 Euros. There is a modest salad bar included in the dinners. We had a grilled combo for 4 persons, which was more than enough and absolutely delicious. The mini meats were tender and grilled to perfection. We added a side of calamari, which were very tender. We ordered a Retsina wine with the meal, which was one of the smoothest and best Retsina's we have ever had. The wait staff was extremely efficient & friendly without being overly obtrusive, making us feel right at home. The meal ended with a complimentary glass of Greek Kumquart liquor, which was just the right touch to end a wonderful meal. Bravo Mr Tsianakas, we look forward to visiting your surprising restaurant again.More
