If you like fruit de mer then no where better. Fresh at point of catch excellent service . Just beautiful and we paid just 50 euros for an amazing Sunday lunch.

A full restaurant on a wet mid September says it all really. The restaurant was full which for some may make the eating experience a little noisy but we liked the traditional French feel to the place! A varied menu which was predominantly fish & shellfood but what do you expect on the quayside. Reasonably priced and a menu for... More

We had a pleasant early dinner here one evening in late August. We were offered a seat outside but chose to eat inside. The food was good as was the service. No complaints at all

Recommended by our site reps and glad he did. You would never find it otherwise. It is the last one down the quayside of the working area of the port. Fodd was spot on with a number of 'specials' and extremely good value. One of the best meals we've had in the area.

Along with my wife, I visited Chez Roberte with two French friends from La Rochelle on Sunday 16th August and had the set Menu Amiral. I don't eat sea-food myself but had the Pave de Boeuf which was the best I've ever had in France and I've been going there since 1979. The other 3 had sea-food and thought the... More

Had mackeral salad and sword fish for lunch. All fresh. Mackeral salad perfect, swords fish lovely but sauce was a bit distracting. Partner said mussels yery good. Ice cream and crime brûlée exceptional. Choc mousse less so. Boat trips nearby of you can watch oysters being landed

A bit unfair on Chez Roberte, bnut we wanted an eclade but were too late for La Bonne Renomee next door, but the skate I had was nice enough and my wife had mussels which were apparently a little small. The starter of calimari is one to avoid. The seafood platter looked good too...I would stick with teh daily specials... More
