We have been here many times and it is always a great experience. All the dishes of the menu are particular and accurate studied and cooked by chef DEDE, the owner. All the staff is professional and polite. The trattoria has a generation tradition story, and the real point of strength is that you feel THE GUEST

You have to try the Gnocchi with chest nuts and the local cheese risotto plus local wine complemented by in house made deserts. Meat looks good will try to come back for dinner.

it is definitely an higher level restaurant from the other choices you can get in the area, for this reason might be a "difficult" choice for an occasional traveler. But if you are looking for a food experience instead of just a dinner this is the place to go. on top of that, the prices are absolutely honest!

Dinner was extremely good. Why then no "excellent" review? Because the prices were quite high relative to portion sizes in this nearly 120-year-old restaurant a stone's throw from Domodossola (I was surprised by the overall high prices in this area but maybe I need to get out more). We had a table all alone, outside. This was our fault, though,... More

Good restaurant for dinner albeit very crowded and thus need reservation in advance. Food served in elegant way, very tasty and very local. Restaurant has it's own yard where you can eat during a good weather. Prices on the higher side of the scale though.

We were told about this place by the owners of the B&B Borgo di Creggio where we were staying. It turned out to be the best reccomendation I ever had, for not only from the first greeting to the lift home they gave us we were treated like a king and queen. And the food! For lovers of foie gras,... More

me and my wife had dinner there on January 3, 2014. Best Gnocchi with chestnut sauce you will ever eat anywhere else in the world! Great selection of wines, especially the local wine Prunent. Highly recommended!! We will be back!!

Excellent food, seasonal local specialities. Prime choice ingredients ( Lamb was better than Welsh one...no offense) Delicious side dish with vegetables, potatoes and glazed chestnuts. Plenty of intriguing things to try...and homemade deserts.

My husband and I walked here after a recommendation from the B&B where we stayed. The food was fantastic! It turned out that our waiter was the owner and his wife the head chef, so it was a great, friendly experience. We decided to sit outside which was pretty chilly, but how could you not eat outside when you are... More
