Eight of us came here for a meal and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food all came out together and it was well presented and very tasty. Good atmosphere good food and good value.

My friend and I visited this evening as they advertised on their website that a Tuesday night was banquet night. Excellent we thought, £13.95 for starters, main, side, rice and naan. We even checked with the waiter before ordering that this deal was on...he confirmed it was. So we ordered from the menu, the food was ok, nothing special, my... More

I visited with my brother and sister-in-law while visiting relatives locally. When the food arrived, my balti was ok but not very warm. My brother's food was floating in oil and my sister-in-laws passanda was topped with a big mound of tinned 'squirty cream'!!! After draining off as much oil as possible and scooping the squirty cream into a spare... More

We usually go to the Raj in Winterbourne but thought we would try the Taj brasserie as was recommended by friends. Never again! Bhuna very oily with thick layer of oil on top, which spilt out the containers over all the food. Karachi and Rogan josh had too many Tomotoes and hardly any Chicken. Totally ripped off! All three dishes... More

Came here with 11 friends as a Christmas celebration. The restaurant has a warm welcoming feel with nice decor although the toilet floor was like a skating rink so not good if you've had a few! Staff were attentive and very friendly. The menu was large and the wait not too bad at all. The only downside was the shock... More

The first impression is of a former pub that has had money well spent to make it a welcoming place to visit - and a bit more upmarket than the usual "Indian" However the service and food were no more than average - neither was remarkably good nor remarkably bad. The advantage it had was the parking which is really... More

We came here with family members to celebrate a birthday. We arrived a bit early but was able to have a drink in the small seating area whilst we waited for our family. The food and service were both very good. We did order a vegetable curry as a side order but sag aloo came out - no matter as... More

a cut above the usual indian restaurant. The food seems to be of a better quality and the service here is excellent. Also the decorative surroundings feel quite nice as opose to the more normal drab indian restaurant. OK this is not a Marco Piere White, but it is far better than most other such places (especially the other major... More

Absolutely SHOCKING! Over a two hour wait from sitting down to being served our main course! Would have got served quicker cooking it myself or nipping to a nearby takeaway!!!!! Rude staff, manager too gutless to come out & apologise. Will NEVER be visiting again!!!!!

Very attentive waiters and lovely ambiance. Food very tasty, you can always ask for a meal as you like it i.e. hotter/mild. no coriander :-) Lovely wine selection and very surprised by the new Indian SB.
