About
Lying on the beach of the Village of Kissonerga, we are situated just six kilometers from Paphos Town and three from Coral Bay. The name Vardas comes from the family name of the land owners, who passed it down from generation to generation until it came to Maria Vardas who decided to make good use of it. Vardas, a unique Paphos beach restaurant first opened its doors in 1997. What first started as a small snack bar housed in a simple, octagonal wooden kiosk, now only exists in its reflection in the current business logo. It is this logo that lies at the very heart of Vardas Beach, there to remind us of the humble beginnings when we decided that quality of service and cuisine would never be sacrificed

Charged for an extra beer, extra iced tea and an extra bottle of water. Nice setting food not cheap.

Was looking for a place to enjoy the sunset and the location is beautiful. The food was great, we had the Cyprus Meze with lots of variety (although a lot smaller portions than anticipated). The desserts were fabulous, crepes and apple pie. Wonderful service too.

Meze of 4 plates changed, including unchewable octopus, local miniscular fish with local odour, rare case in Cyprus of modest sizes of salads or other dishes, well, €24 per 1 person meze was too much. Completely disappointed

Beautiful views. Food was not too bad though the lamb chops were a bit chewy and could have been nice if it came with some sort of sauce or relish. The waitress was not a happy bunny when we asked if we could split the...More

Walked here from Coral Bay. Nice quiet location overlooking a small rocky peaceful bay. Good service. Only had a sandwich, 5una, but came with chips. Excellent. Great location

Friendly enough place with quite a overwhelming menu. Slightly limited on the beverage orders but plenty to offer for the food. What really disappointed us was the use of the wording "fresh chicken" when clearly the chicken used was frozen and processed. We're pretty certain...More

Yes, I think they are open in November. When chatting with one of the waiters while we were there I got the impression they only close during Jan/Feb time.
