Thought we would give it a try as its local to us. The food was much better than before when they had the other place. The service on the other hand was dreadful. The man behind the bar was too busy wandering and eating the nuts off the bar. I observed a gentleman at the bar waiting and was ignored... More

The new owners have revamped the inside so it's a modern and pleasant Thai restaurant, still retaining some of its previous elements and style as a pub. The food is delicious - most dishes between £10-12 and generous, fresh and authentic. You'll see Pad Thai, a range of red, yellow and green curries, etc. Highly recommended.

We were looking for somewhere for lunch on the way to Cambridge and, passing the Queen's Head, we thought we'd try it. On entering the smell of paint made it clear that the place had recently been redecorated; we were told that it had become very run down and had been acquired by the new owners and thoroughly refurbished; it... The food is superb. I can recommend the steamed sea bass in ginger. A whole fish that is moist and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. It is great for families, my grandchildren loved it and nothing was too much trouble.

This gem of a place has just undergone extensive refurbishment and is looking fantastic. The new Managers are keen, enthusiastic and already proving their desire to make this a must-visit place to eat and drink. The bar area is modern with a traditional twist, with good old-fashioned pub games available. The range of beer is excellent and although I am... More

We arrived mid saturday afternoon and the bar was busy. The beer (Adnams was excellent!) Will be returning for Sunday lunch.

I attempted to have a Sunday lunch with my family four weeks ago. It has taken me until now to write this review, as I emailed the pub to give them a right to reply- still waiting! The pub was empty with plenty of tables, staff standing around idly. I asked for a table, and waited for my partner and... More

First visit today. I meant to go there for a meal. By bad luck, the kitchen was closed at 3pm when I got there and it wouldn't re-open until 6. Pretty bad customer service. I was talking to the owner and he completely ignored me when a bunch of (hungry) business customers arrived. They hadn't addressed him but he was... More

Couldn't be more disappointed to hear that there is no wheelchair access. The staff said they would carry my husband as they have no ramp. Absolutely appalled they think this is even acceptable.

Visited with my daughter and had lovely meal. I had steak and trimmings and my daughter had lasagna. This was followed by a yummy cheesecake. Unlike a lot of pubs I was given 3 glasses of water with lemon and ice for free. The barmaid was very helpful and friendly.
