Good pub, large areas and plenty of parking. Ideal after a dog walk in Richmond Park (They do allow dogs - with water and treats) Good beers and a nice menu. Friendly staff

We ate here late on a Sunday afternoon expecting it to be too busy to get a table on a sunny day, but it was quiet and mostly empty. The food was good, our vegetarian nut roast was huge and one of the nicer roasts I've had in a pub. It's a little pricey but you get so much food... More

My friends and I have been here several times, enjoying the historic pub with great food. But over and above, its the staff who make it such a good place to go. They are young, courteous and fun, very efficient and a pleasure to be served by. The pub's tucked away location, just by Richmond Gate, makes it quite a... More

This used to be a very busy pub and food was good but it's had its day, lack lustre depressing pub really we ordered steak and was told it was excellent, but it was anything but tough as old boots and was way over priced. Will be giving this pub a wide berth in the future, sad as it is... More

Bangers and mash were great and the kids' meals are huge. This is a cute pub that's also really family friendly.

Been to this pub several times and had a few Sunday roasts . Always really loved it and gave it 5 stars but went on Sunday and it was really disappointing. The roast potatoes were totally uncooked and the vegetables were what appeared to be the frozen diced kind. Gravy was like water. The nut roast was delicious and everyone... More

Stopped by on a Saturday lunchtime to hopefully watch the Chelsea game, realized soon that it wasn't that sort of place! Nevermind! Had the burger and chips with a lovely real ale. Enough said!

Excellent Sunday Roast dinner! Treat yourself to pudding - the almond chocolate brownie I had was heavenly.
