My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch here having driven past many times and commenting how cute it looked. That's unfortunately where the good comments end..... we visited on a Tuesday afternoon when it was not even half full and service was a bit slow and they still managed to forget part of our order. The food was completely lacking.... More

Went here for morning tea while waiting for the gardens to open (big mistake) Everything was a problem, from being allocated a table to placing an order, i can accept all of that if food is good, it wasn't. Microwaved hot cross bun and absolutely terrible coffee. Wished we'd waited and gone to coffee shop in gardens

My mother is a regular customer here but mainly to take home pies and cakes which are very good. Yesterday she came for a quick lunch of bread and soup too. She had to wait a long time before a very average soup was delivered to the table together with a tiny piece of bread. As this place is always... More

Saw this delightful place as we cycled by,2 vintage vans parked on the pavement, had to stop and it was worth it. Good selection of teas, soya milk and a delicious Vegan brownie for my wife and a tasty pear and raspberry tart for me. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Great place to stop

My wife and I went here for my wifes birthday tea when staying locally. This charming tea room with a very long history is the epitome of the English Tea house. There is a variety of tea menus on offer and we opted for the traditional High Tea which consisted of a pot of tea for two and and a... More

Found this place whilst staying in the area. It was like going back in time! Beautiful, cosy, quirky tearoom. The staff were very tentative and friendly, nothing too much trouble. Food was superb, plentiful and baked on the premises. Will definitely be back for a return visit

We were a part of five and Kimberley was great in accommodating at short notice after a mix up. Its an amazingly cozy place for tea and I strongly recommend a visit. The variety of cakes and teas was amazing and swapping our sandwhich choices as was done without any trouble. Definitely took me back to my childhood when I... More

Ordered an amazing picnic from maids of honour to take to kew gardens for mothers day. My mum is celiac and this can prove a challenge when eating out. Maids of honour made an amazing spread of food for her and the non celiacs! The service was amazing when we were in the shop on the day friendly helpful nothing... More

On a recent weekend in London the spring sunshine invited us to take a stroll in Kew gardens. Whats better than a stroll and the Victoria gate Kew cafe? A cream tea in the Orangerie, which is self- serve though and not so much fun, or, even better a picknick from Newens MoH. We stopped by, they dont currently prep... More

I strongly recommend this cozy place. Everything there is so perfect, from food to customer service. It´s like to be back in history! The atmosphere is awesome and I would love to come back there to try others dishes. The staff is very kind and helpful. Our chicken pie was delicious. The lady who attended us was very kind and...
