Dingy, Worst food ever No style, poor, cramped and dingy, requires a good clean. The starter was lamb karahi tough and tasteless barely edible, unable to get my knife or teeth into them. Mains chicken Chasni four small bits of hard tasteless chicken, sickening Sauce, the worst and most expensive Indian meal ever £25.00 for a two-course served on cold... More

What a lovely way to spend an evening. From the excellent service as soon as you walk through the door, to the steel jug of fresh tap water on the table and a wonderful little amuse bouche. The half portion main course was a real hit with my wife and the Spiced onions, superb. Go here and enjoy.

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant having never visited before. The food was excellent with a wide range of choice. It was ready on time and we were served efficiently. The restaurant looked appealing housed in an old corner Georgian building. We will certainly return, perhaps to dine next time.

Went on saturday at 5.30. Booked table beforehand but wasn't, busy. Had chilli chicken dosa and spiced haddock as starters, both good although a lot of bones in fish. Dosage is a big helping. For main we had lamb pasanda which was totally mouth watering, chicken tikka chasni wonderful and butter chicken again fab. Because each had only small portions... More

I have been there twice within a week. I have never liked indian food much or spices, but the dish i order made with lamb and coconut was delicious. The drinks are quite a shame though, the juice is not natural and it is more like a very diluted squash.

Regularly go here for their Friday lunchtime 3 course £6.75 meal offer (only Fridays). Always good food freshly cooked (don't like buffets!). Nice ambience and stylish dining room. Pleasant waiters, good value.

I come to Stirling once a year and I always come to the Green Gates for a curry. This year, several of us arrived at the same time, so we booked to meet at the restaurant, which was a lovely start to the weekend. The food was wonderful, as always. I had a biriani, which I haven't had in ages,... More
