As a family we love a trip to Pirnhall /Brewers Fayre unfortunately on our recent visit for my fathers birthday meal we were left totally disappointed. The smothered chicken was ordered by mother and myself and the chicken was dry and tough , they have also changed the menu that it comes served with a mini corn on the cob ,... A stop off for lunch on our way north; didn't think we ours go wrong with a chain pub......however despite the lady serving being friendly and the food on offer being good value for money I'm afraid that that the food served was badly cooked - in fact it was overcooked. Most of us had fish and chips however it... More

Meal deals here when staying at neighbouring Premier Inn have been great value and enjoyable on two recent weekends. The meal deal includes full menu choice for two courses, a glass of wine or pint of beer and also full breakfast the next morning. COne Saturday was extremely busy and the service suffered with food taking far too long to... More

We recently stayed at the adjacent Premiere Inn and ate our meals here, due to the convenience. It has the atmosphere of an American Big Boy restaurant. I'd describe the food as decent but unremarkable. The breakfast is overpriced but they have some good deals for dinner. They offer a themed all you can eat buffet each evening for about... More

Poor really poor quality. Having travelled, lived and worked in many places around the world. Staying and dining in some beautiful establishments. Pirnhall Inn near Stirling must rank at the lower end of the food chain. I accept that the Whitbread Group PLC (Brewers Fayre) are unable to police every outlet, however those folk charged with maintaining food quality and... More

Visited for breakfast at 10.10 am and we were told in a rude manner that breakfast finished at 10.30...the only reason my friend and i didnt walk out was the free kids breakfast deal ..the tables are dirty and sticky. The food is ok .passable..but just .but the staff here are surly and unfriendly . I have visited my other... More

Based in a great location next to the premiere Inn just off the m9 minutes from Bannockburn. Very clean with lots of seating inside and out. Food was great prices were reason. And toilets were clean. Only criticism I found the service very slow. Only one person behind the bar taking food and drink orders. Waiting for 10 mins too... More

We had the misfortune to visit on Fathers Day. Chaos. Lots of people complaining. No clear guidelines as to how to access the food or order - no-one seemed to know what was happening. The tomato soup was thin and watery - like as I would imagine gruel to be. One dish (not the carvery) took ages to arrive and... More

Popped in hear a couple of days ago for dinner. Being a part of a chain I wasn't expecting anything great. How wrong was I. Really friendly and helpful staff, food that was really enjoyable, and nice surroundings. Well worth a visit. We will certainly be back. Good job to all concerned. Many thanks to Claire who served us so... More

We have been a couple of times and the carvery is always good. We haven't had anything else here. Had a 2 year old and the out door play is no good for them, you could not leave kids to play you would have to walk round with them. Service good.
