We have been there twice recently. First time I had a breakfast which was a bit on the greasy side, I should known better as the place was smelling badly of stale cooking oil and the kitchen extractor fan was obviously poor. But for this it would have been nice. I went back a few days later because I was... More

I originally visited Gabes a year ago and thought it was by far the best place Stirling had seen in a long time, however when I returned last month my experience was quite different! We were seated and then left for quite some time without anyone taking even a drinks order. When the food arrived it was good, but a... More

Visited here for dinner with my partner and it was amazing! A little wait on the food which is expected as its freshly made, definitely worth the wait if you want some real food! Would really recommend it and we will definitely be back! A lot of choice on the menu as well! Staff are also lovely

I ordered the chowder to start and it was far too salty. I know fish dishes especially chowder can have a salty kick but this was just ridiculous. Then had savoury crepes with chicken and the crepe tasted like it had been cooked in excessive salt. Small room with not enough room to swing a cat. Basic.

Looks pretty incongruous from exterior. An enjoyable evening meal with colleagues. Bring your own bottle establishment. Imaginative menu with diverse choices. Tastes were balanced & complementary. I enjoyed delicious scallops and then braised beef, followed by a banana delight. All were great; as were the others' dishes reportedly. Excellent unobtrusive service. I'd be happy to return.

Visiting with our daughter in Plean, she said that she would take us someplace for lunch, and this was it. The menu is huge for such a small place but the food does not suffer for this. We all had something different, from mac`n`cheese to Thai beef. All was excellent A couple of my daughters work colleagues turned up for... More

Popped in for a quick lunch, had great service, fantastic food especially for veggies. We had our dog with us who also received top class service. Will be back again.
