Nice atmosphere and eating area outisde (it was a really warm evening). Food fine, but nothing special. Near river, peaceful place to chill if you've been travelling all day to get to Gatwick.

One of the worst dining experiences we have had. Food very poor and service awful even though it wasn't particularly busy. Would recommend you look elsewhere.

I have known this pub for 40 years, sadly it has gone the way of so many great little pubs. The generic black uniformed staff with the swipe card on a springy thing that slows absolutely everything down beyond belief. However. It has maintained its...More

My word! An authentic, vintage Olde English pub within walking distance of Gatwick’s North Terminal. They serve genuine cask-conditioned, hand-pulled real ales (a guest pull is new each month), lovely pub pies and traditional Sunday roast with Yorkshire puddings.

Yes. The Church is next door to the Six Bells, although I am reliably informed that the church bell tower has in fact got Eight Bells. Someone once said heaven next to hell.

I recently went and yes, I saw dogs in the bar area and there was what seemed to be a jar of dog treats by the door that leads upnto the restrooms. I ordered my food from the bar and it was brought out to our table, however... More

a taxi ftom Premier Inn and or Sofotel cost us £6 each way so I can't see it being much difference from the Hilton. I would advise to order it from yhe hotel and not the airport as they wanted to charge us £10 each way!
