The best way to describe the Pheasant is: 1) Amazing value for food 2) Delicious food 3) Great prices 4) Generous serving sizes. I am so happy we have discovered such a great pub not far from home as the Pheasant is somewhere I would highly recomend to friends, family and anyone who wants value for money yet tasty great... I have eaten in the restaurant on numerous occasions with friends. The variety of choice is excellent as is the position sizes which at times are so big you can finish it all! The service is good overall but the queue to order can sometimes be long when busy. However, it's worth the wait. Would definitely recommend it.

We stayed in the Premier Inn near Heathrow but wanted to find a decent evening meal, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The pub was really lively, and it's worth noting that kids are not allowed in the pub itself (though they are welcome in the heated outdoor area and the restaurant). My steak and ale pie was... After driving down from Bristol to visit a family member we had a booked a table at the Peasant for a family dinner. The table had been booked and knowing it was an adult pub as a family we asked that if myself as 18 year old with a younger sister of 16 would be allowed. The individual on the... More

Had to wait awhile to order, 25 minute line, always a good sign. I ordered the Beer battered cod. Enjoyed a local English ale, Londoner. The fish was excellent, I was not disappointed. My lovely wife had the Spicy Thai lamb. It was so much she couldn't finish it all. The environment was so quaint, its low ceiling, the building... More

Great lunch options (portions are enormous), ordered a lasagna and veggie Wellington, both excellent!

Steak and ale pie is the best real pub food I've found. Pure goodness and a friendly crowd. It's too much to handle.

Myself and a colleague were working at heathrow so decided to give the pheasant a go for dinner seeing as our previous dinner the night before had been a wash out. Thankfully we had booked a table as the restaurant was heaving. We were sat down in good time and approached by our waiter who was attentive and friendly, we... More

This is a huge restaurant with several eating areas both inside and out. The pub-like atmosphere is friendly and very busy so there's lots of noise. The food is average with reasonable prices for what you get. The lamb was quite tasty but the roast chicken was very dry.

We have just returned from an evening in this lovely restaurant. The food as always was delicious the welcome is always first rate and the service was outstanding. We were looked after by John who is a fantastic asset and kept us entertained while looking after all his other diners. It's great to see a lot of the same team... More
