This restaurant has superb views across the bay. It would be very easy for the restaurant to rely on this rather than the quality of the food to attract custom. But they don't. The food was excellent. Possibly the best curry I have had. We ordered a vegetarian balti and it was superb. Fresh, fragrant and well spiced. The naan... More

Absolutely amazing food and staff. Went in during the day and asked for their table in the window which unfortunately was unavailable we were surprised when we got there that the table had in fact been made available for us to look over the harbour whilst eating. We asked for a dish that wasn't on the menu and it was... More

Enjoyed an ok curry there at the weekend, it has new owners and the staff are very pleasant and attentive, much better than previously, however my problem is with the prices, they seem quite high for a curry in Tenby, I personally would not pay nearly £14 for a chicken Jalfrezi without any rice or naan bread. Otherwise it was... More

When me and my wife came to Tenby, pub grub was just something we didn't fancy and seemed like the only option while searching the town square. We took a detour to find The Bay of Bengal tucked away in front of Tenby's harbor. Me and my wife looked in and we couldn't say no. The place was quite busy... More

What more could you ask for. We used to frequent the Bay of Bengal for years the food was always excellent but got fed up with the miserable staff/manager. Returned tonight to find that the place has had a bit of a makeover including the staff. The food was still excellent but the staff are super friendly. Definitely recommend. Take... More

My wife and I visited Tenby for a long weekend. This is a great restaurant serving authentic Bengal dishes. It is a BYO place so remember to take some refreshments. They do serve soft drinks.

Great menu, Lovely decor and friendly staff. Soft drinks served, bringing your own alcohol is an economical option. Highly recommended for a casual meal or formal celebration.

We called into The Bay of Bengal late just as the restaurant was closing up. However they did a takeaway for us and even lent us two fork's to enjoy our meal back in our hotel room. The staff were lovely, very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we got served. Our meal was absolutely gorgeous,... More

We went here between Christmas and New Year. The food was plentiful and of good quality. The dansak had a good heat (although I'd never had it with pineapple) and the mushroom rice was one of the nicest we have had.

We recently visited for a family meal to celebrate my Mum's birthday, having booked a table a few days earlier. We were seated quickly and sat in a lovely bay window with a view out across the harbour, and started on our drinks. It's BYOB which is fine, but they didn't have much available to keep drinks cold. Staff are... More
