Great food and available quickly which was appreciated as we ordered takeaway. Enjoyed it so went back a second time.

My family used to frequent this restaurant every week. The new owners just don't seem to care and the chef is desperate. All of the main course came out tasting and looking the same. Time to look for a new curry house - very sad.

Had a very enjoyable meal during the busy Ironman weekend. Quite a large party there in high spirits but enjoyable banter. 2 biriani dishes were excellent along with a fabulous lamb saag. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Bring your own alcohol and cash only! Would return.

Had a take away from there last night and was very happy with food. Very tasty and hot (temp). And if you like spicy hot food it will not disappoint you. No bad points at all. If you are having a sit down meal please note they don't serve alcoholic beverages. Worth a visit.

Excellent choice of food, well presented, attentive and friendly staff. From the street you cannot see the size of this restaurant . There is a downstairs with amazing harbour & sea views. This restaurant is unlicensed , so bring your own booze. Faiz the manager - this one's for you. We'll be back.

We probably wouldn't have gone for a curry if the Bay of Bengal hadn't been personally recommended by a colleague, but we were certainly glad that we did! The terrace was unavailable at the time of our visit, but we were shown to the comfortable lower dining room which has windows overlooking the harbour and North Beach. The service was... More

Excellent restaurant with lovely sea views and very cheerful staff. Delicious mini bhajis & prawn puree to start, madras & tandoori king prawns to follow. Bring your own wine a real bonus!

Had an impromptu takeaway from here one night during a recent holiday. Impressed with the friendly service and the meal was really yummy. I usually stick to creamy curries as I dislike hot dishes, the gentleman taking the order asked what I usually liked, and when I told him this, he asked if I liked onions and peppers (I do)... More
