Dropped in early busy evening to try the ales. Very busy with food orders so quite slow to get a drink. We tried s half of each of the six real ales but were not impressed. We drank one half but left five half drunk glasses. Not quite sure why this was.

All the boards outside really draw you in with the tempting fishy delights only to be told there is no fish. So we didn't give up and ordered something from one of the other tempting specials boards only to be told, quite rudely, that only food from the paper table menu was on offer. We left.

Went here for my lunch after a boat trip for my son's birthday, based on previous reviews that said it was good. Unfortunately we left disappointed. Arrived for lunch and went to place the order at the bar. Told by server, "we don't take food orders yet, come back in 10 minutes." They serve food from 12.00pm, it was 11.58am.... More

I brought American friends to Tenby and could not wait to take them to The Hope and Anchor best pub and best seafood in Tenby ,I was devastated to find it turned into a canteen no atmosphere and full of noisy children. If this is progress you can keep it

Had an evening meal at the Hope and Anchor. Had to wait in little space for someone to leave and grab a table but outside under heaters was lovely. Food was tasty, if not spectacular but absolutely no complaints.

Myself and my daughter ate at The Hope and Anchor this evening, I went for the sea bass and my daughter the chilli con carne. Lovely menu with a great choice of seafood! Delicious. We were both delighted with our meals and they were reasonably priced too. Would recommend highly for some great restaurant quality food in a lovely welcoming... More

We found the place rather gloomy inside, the walls were a grey blue coupled with poor lighting. The menu was very average. The food is simple but not particularly well executed. My mackerel was slightly mushy. I had it with a baked potato which was delicious, it was soft and sweet. My son's calamari was awful, over cooked and coated... More

We had nice food, my partner loved his fish and I ordered mussels as a main. The portion size was fine until I found out that most of the mussels (over half) were closed. I wished I'd ordered chips as a side order to fill me up more as I left hungry. Nice atmosphere, more of a pub than a... More

Lovely Atmosphere and Reasonably Priced Delicious Food .......however I was not happy that they started to take our plates away before everybody had finished....no mention of desert so we left and went for drinks elsewhere!!!!

Nice place, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately we couldn't eat lobster as the first day we went too late and the second too early. But we managed to taste the mussels and the calamari which was delicious. So it's worth trying. :)
