Fantastic little tea room. Great food and good value. The Devonshire cream teas were excellent. Sandwiches and jacket potatoes were real value for money with excellent fillings.

Simple fair priced and excellent filter coffee and tea under the shade of a flourishing vine surrounded by gnomes

Visited here yesterday as I had never been to a tea room for tea and scones. Well I was shocked by a scone, I kid you not. I've only seen the little mass produced scones you get in supermarkets. But when I saw the size of scones we were being brought I actually said ' Oh my god they're huge!... More

An amazing find, thank you trip advisor! Lovely lunch and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed an intimate lunch with the best scones I have tasted in Devon. Surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers and trinkets with a nice and refreshing cup of tea.

I was walking past the tearoom when a man, who I believe was the owner, appeared by the menu and started telling me about the tearoom menu. The crab, he told me, was fresh and not tinned, the ham was carved off the bone and the desserts were all homemade. We were not ready for any refreshment at this time... More
