A huge plaice filled my plate, and the chips had to settle for a side plate. The fish was thick, the batter crisp and light, the chips hot and fresh, and the pot of tea was pretty good too. A fine chippie near the seafront.

A decent meal of fish and chips in a nice setting on the main promenade in Ilfracombe. Fairly priced, tasted nice and free wifi. Kept all of the family happy.

You have to try this restaurant, eat-in or take-away. Great choices and lovely tasting food, worth the walk from the town centre to the coast line

This was ok, just OK . the staff were friendly but the food was average. We felt we could have been anywhere.

Bought 2 meals and took them over to the sea front to eat as it was a little busy indoors. The food was quite good, very happy with the number of different things to choose from including vegetarian options.

Great choice on menu, not the cheapest but didn't mind paying the prices and the children's meal was good value for money. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we would go back there. Staff were friendly and lovely views. The best thing for me was they had a battered mars bar with ice-cream, I'd always wanted to try this and at... More

Lovely food near the seaside with a good view as its on the. in street. Good choice on the menu with your typical fish and chip favourites. It's good that you can sit in and also takeaway depending on the weather. We sat in as it was raining and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

With plenty of similar establishments to choose from where do you go? This is a real find. Friendly staff and grateful food. Go for the bargain deal of fish and chips with mushy peas and a pot of tea as it's much cheaper than buying separately. Opposite the gardens/crazy golf so can look out and enjoy folk enjoying themselves. Recommended

I have just returned from my 3rd visit here in the past 18 months. Hands down the best battered cod I have ever had. Chips are great too. Clean and friendly. I wish I lived closer to eat here each week!

If you want nice fish and chips then this is the place to go. And the choice of sit in table service too. Great views to boot
