We visited three times in a week (an old favourite): tea; lunch; cream tea. The cream tea was at the third attempt - no cream because the season had ended - but worth the patience! Relaxed, friendly, excellent service. Difficult to fault.

We struggled to find the pub, having managed to drive past the tatty sign (couldn't read it) and ended up walking back up from the beach via a path of about 400 yards - a nice walk. The view across the pebbly and rocky beach was spectacular. We then struggled to find the entrance which was at the rear... however... More

Visited North Devon in August with a Drive through visit to Lee. We returned to North Devon end of October and spent a few hours on the beach with a walk through the village. We popped into here for drinks before returning to the car. We all (3adults & 2kids) had a lovely hour or so sat in the Bar... More

Following an epic coastal walk we went through the quaint village of Lee and stumbled into this gorgeous pub. The bar lady was so friendly and welcoming, the inside had an old fashion quality but was cosy and had a great outside beer garden. We didn't eat but all the food looked lush with generous portions Highly recommend and considering... More

A delightful friendly classic British pub. The beer was kept well and the charming young barman was only too happy to offer me a sample of the beer on offer to ensure I liked the option I'd selected. No food available at that time - it was late afternoon and I think we had happened to turn up just in... More

Walked into this charming looking pub full of character for an early lunch. Was told when i asked for the menu just after 12 there was no bacon. Not a problem i thought until i saw the menu which had a very small selection of snacks and food. Admittedly there specials board did give 5 more alternatives if you wanted... More

We have been to the Grampian before for drinks and a snack and had a great time, lovely beers and great bar food, so decided to come for Sunday lunch. The Roast was disappointing, a few slices of chicken and very thin gravy. My partner had the Lamb tagine, and this was also disappointing. Would say great if you just... More

What a lovely place to stop at for lunch whilst on holiday walking. I opted for the chicken and bacon salad which was very nice, plentiful and filling followed by two glasses of the house white. My husband was very satisfied by the Ploughmans. Overall good value for money and service was attentive and satisfactory.

We stumbled across this gem of a pub whilst aimlessly driving around the countryside. We didn't eat but had a lovely hour or 2 sat in the beer garden having a drink. The pub is charming and full of character just like the village of Lee in which it is situated. A very happy and relaxing afternoon. I definitely recommend... More

Great food, great atmosphere. Very friendly owner and staff. Nice location. We were staying locally to this pub and visited a few times. Everybody was very friendly and chatted to us. Pub also holds a village shop too.
