Absolutely stunning little pub we only found by walking past it on our way to the beach. Stopped for lunch today. A beautiful old place with stunning gardens. A good selection of food and the staff were all really friendly. It did get busy and you can certainly understand why. You feel a million miles away in the beer garden... More

This was our second visit to the village of Lee and one of the reasons we came again was this little gem of a pub. The food menu is small, however the meals are tasty and the portions generous, good enough for a local evening out. It is child and dog friendly with plenty of both having fun in the... More

I have to say, I think some people are rather harsh in their reviews, and perhaps misjudged. For example, one contributor, on the basis of one visit, has said that the locals don't go there (because food is poor) and this is not true. I am a regular visitor to Lee and I know a number of the locals and... More

From the outside, this pub looks deserted, as did the village of Lee Bay. Upon investigating the entrance is actually at the back, and pretty much everyone in the village was inside or in the garden having lunch. They were busy and there was a long wait for food. However they had some great beers on and I had two... More

Not sure what has happened. Previous visits over several years the food has been simple but good. Yesterday, cheap bland sausages, dry mashed potato and little gravy. Similarly tuna melt was just a thin layer of mush with brown edges inside the panini. And certainly not cheap. Disappointed after previous visits. Let down by the detail. Not sure who is... More

First off, this is a pub NOT a restaurant. Not yet anyway. I stumbled across this place whilst on a wander from Woolacombe and I wasn't disappointed. It was the type of place I could of sat in all day an d lost quite a few hours. The bar staff were great and the locals were welcoming and good fun.... More

We visited this pub as we were staying close by. Beautiful little pub when we eventually found it. Lacking in any signage to find it, its a bit of a trek but ok if you are driving. The pub itself is beautiful on the outside but incredibly dark on the inside. I appreciate its an old building but we had... More

We were stopping in Lee so visited a few times. It's worth noting that the only customers we ever saw were holidaymakers, not locals who do not rate their pub. Sandwiches for lunch were fine and the beer garden is pretty, but you may have to clear your own table as this does not appear to be a service provided... More

If you want a drink in a decent garden with perhaps a sandwich, The Grampus is probably for you. We however had booked lunch for a party of 14 and were disappointed by the standard of the food. The choice for lunch was very limited - we ordered either sausages and chips or Sunday roast - chicken, just chicken. To... More

Sunday afternoon 14 of us arrived at the pub just after 2. Our food took well over an hour - o know that we were a big group bit we kept the order simple with only ordering a selection of 3 different dishes between is. The roast came as a family service style which was ok. But are warm empty... More
