Dear reader, Somtimes when you travel for business you will find hidden suprises. This restaurant has great home made salades. Everything i eat he re was lovely. I dont understand why people eat the expensive poznan fabric food if you can eat here fresh for...half the price. Regards, MartijnMore

Didnt have the opportunity in the last two years to come back here but at last the moment arrived to have some delicious dinner here. The mixed veggies (surówki) are advicable as side dish. For the fish, anything goes, we had the “Sandacz” (not sure...about the english name) and it was delicious! It was very crowded (friday evening) so it took a bit to get our order, but considering the crowd it was really fast! Also highly recommended is the orange type of home made tea! Delicious! Will be coming back again for sure!More

I have followed good reviews. And it payed off.. 1. Location: it is near the highway..bkind off in the middle of nowhere. But you will big parking place and to concentrate on the food. 2. Type of the place, Food: polish mixed with Eyropean.. this...is a perfect place for hungry ones. You will find several beer sorts, wines and some strong drinks. Size: 30+ tables which makes mid size restaurant (with outdoor terrace). 3.Service: some couple waitress. good in english... 4. Prices: Average- in European standard. We spent 60Euro for 4 adults and 5 children... next day similar dinner in Germany was 120Eur.. 5. FOOD Quality and portions: portions are big.. especially if you would take gulash soup, which is sufficient for 2 to share.. 6. INTERIOR: i made several photos.... 7. Clean or not? Yes, this place is clean.. theoretically could be cleaner, but I would say sufficient. WC in a good shape.. 8. Value: 8 out of 10... for those who clearly knows the purpose of the visit - to drop down for a quick dinner going through Poland 9. TIPS: - you should try gulash soup. - meals: steak - you should ask for rare instead of well done..More

We were traveling through Poland and happened to just find this delightful eating place. It was fully packed as clearly a very popular destination. The staff understood English and the service was friendly. I would give 5 stars to the owners for how much love...and attention they put into keeping the place beautiful with very warm and cosy decorations, it was like a little love nest near Valentines time. Even the toilets were gorgeously decorated! There were lanterns outside on the path, little hearts everywhere on the tables, wall hangings etc. The food was affordable and they offered generous portions. All the salads were fresh and home made. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because our snitchel was deep fried, and every little side including the bread, salad, potatoes and everything cost extra. Still we found the prices great, portions big, and the atmosphere just beautiful! Would definitely visit again next time and recommend it very much.More

On our trip back to Holland we stumbled upon this marvellous restaurant near the 'Nowy Tomysl' exit of the east-west A2 highway Berlin - Warsaw. After reading some positive reviews here on Tripadvisor, we decided to give it a shot, and it was the best...decision! The food is absolutely amazing, freshly caught fish prepared with the highest standards (see attached photos). Upfront I had a delicious Polish soup called "Zurek", which I highly recommend. It is a sour soup with Polish sausages and a hard boiled egg inside. Simply delicious! The service is great too as the staff is very friendly and you are being served by beautiful Polish girls with amazing smiles radiating sunshine from far ahead! I will be visiting this place over and over again, each time when I'll be passing this route, whether I'm hungry or not! The prices are super competitive too, especially when you are coming from the best. You'll pay 4/5 times more in an average restaurant in Holland for food that tastes 10 times worse!More

We went here on our trip to the Poznan area and found it via Tripadvisor where it got good reviews. We can only say that from our perspective these reviews were correct. The atmosphere is nice despite being located immediately next to a busy road....Nice and big terrace with huge sun umbrellas. Also inside it looks nice and clean but because of the good weather we decided to eat outside. Unfortunately some the fish my girlfriend was looking forward to was not available so in the end she decided to go for salmon which was very nicely prepared. I had a pork schnitzel which was also very nice and tasty. The service was very friendly although at times it took a while before ordered drinks were served but when you are not in a hurry that is no problem. The toilet was very clean! So all in all a nice place to make a stopover if you are on your way in the area, the restaurant is quite close to the main highway (A2) to/from Warsaw.More
