We've been before the refurbished, and it looks much more modern now. Food was fresh and service friendly. It's a nice spot to sit in the window and look over the harbour. Gets busy over lunchtimes so you may want to book a table. Good value cafe food and scones. Would definitely visit again.

We had tea here. The premises have undergone a makeover and are all the better for it with a lighter feel. The scones and cakes are good, or the cake would have been if it was not stored in refrigerated conditions (it is not a cream cake!) so this results in not only chilled coffee and walnut cake for tea... Phil and his team welcome you with a smile and courtesy any time. Good menu from snacks to a hearty meal. Worth a visit and coffee is good. Going to be refurbished soon, so looking forward to that.

Nobody should visit Ramsey without a visit to Gophers. We go every time we visit the Island. Great for morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea. Extremely popular with the locals

This cafe consistently gives great value for money. If you fancy just a drink, or a snack, or something more hearty, it's the place to go in Ramsey. We enjoyed a lovely jacket potato (huge!) and tea one lunchtime. It's always busy because the locals use it to.

People have made comments about the size, decor etc of this place. I say so what. Yes it could do with some paint, yes it gets crowded. It gets busy because the food is wholesome and very reasonably priced. It is clean, the staff are really friendly and they help you decide what to have when things are in short... More

Desperate for a cuppa we called in late in the afternoon. We ordered tea and tea cakes which was served after a short wait. Hot, good value and a very pleasant Host. It's not the Ritz but for a quick cuppa, I'd go again for sure.

I find this little cafe too small. Everyone is crowded onto tables that are too big and you sit with strangers. The entire appearance of the place needs updating - it looks as if it has not been done in 30 years and had not been well decorated at the time. I have had sandwiches there which are okay. I... A cozy little cafe on the dock front, with great slabs of fresh cake (chocolate flake cake was delicious), delicious coffee and friendly staff. They had a very tempting range for breakfast but we were only in for a (very filling) snack.

Ramsey on a Saturday was almost closed as far as restaurants were concerned by the time we were ready to eat at 2:30. Thankfully we found this one. It is totally non pretentious and has the feel of a 1950/1960 cafe. However it has two assets friendly staff and great low priced food. My crab special in a bun was... More
