Delightful restaurant. Lots of choice featuring the freshest seafood on an interesting menu with several extra 'dishes of the day'. Service was friendly and efficient. Complimentary bread rolls (offered in a choice of delicious flavours) with dipping oil, balsamic and butter was a nice touch to start with. Good wine list ranging from affordable to more luxury options, plus an... More

Fabulous seafood restaurant at the heart of Douglas. Booked a table for 3 on a busy Saturday night and was not disappointed. Food was to die for. Also asked for a carry out (which they don't usually do) but were only too happy to oblige. A must!

Well when on an island it has to be seafood. A sort notice visit on a Thursday evening, table for two and a great welcome from the lady on the door (fantastic hair!) Orders swiftly taken, queenies for me and seafood plate for my friend, fabulous presentation and the taste was so fresh. Main course was also devoured, lemon sole... More

Booked here in April and looked forward to it so much after reading so many good reviews. I had the crab starter which I couldn't complain about it as it was lovely. My main was fish and chips which I thought would be served different in this fine dining establishment - but not. There was about 6 portions of heavily... More

When we asked for fish restaurants everyone said "Tanroagan" and you can see why. Outstanding menu, fresh local produce beautifully cooked and presented. Wish I could afford to eat there more often.

We where welcomed by a Romanian boy who was very pleasant who pointed to our table. The table its self was very cluttered with 3 drinks menus,a advertisement the size of a pepper grinder on how to pay, oil and vinegars, a sea salt holder in the shape of a frog and a cruet set. Also to be added was... More

However I will attempt to clarify a few things in the event... More

Food & service were great but tables & chairs are very close together, would be difficult to access with wheelchair or pram Got stuck at table as someone sat directly behind me!
