I enjoyed a delightful starter comprising of a pancake filled with Queenies, bacon lardons and a sauce, my. Main course was battered fillet of seabass with chunky chips anf mushy peas, it was absolutely delicious. My only criticism is there was a lot of oil, the bottom of the fish was dropping with it. The wine was outstanding. The service... More

We had a very nice family meal. However when I ordered the Goan fish curry I expected it to be made with some kind of fish. When it turned up I was horrified to find it was made with shell fish. We tried to raise it with the waiting staff because I am allergic but they were not very accommodating... More

You really must take the opportunity to visit this lovely restaurant. Beautiful ambience with a distinct nautical feel that makes you feel like your by the sea. Fabulous attentive staff coupled by excellent dishes..we had the fish pie which was made while we waited, no pre prepared dishes here! A great little place for seafood in the centre of Douglas, right on the Quay. Nice range of choices. Keep in mind the specials of the day. the fish-pie is very good option. Good portions as well. Recommend it for a nice meal.

The service here is second to none, the restaurant itself is rather intimate and the staff were genuinely taking an interest

We visited on a busy Saturday night (you need to book) and were treated to a great meal. We shared queenies to start ( lovely flavoured sauce) and then had pan roast cod and whole seabass (note you get the whole fish, on the bone - not like some restaurants that say seabass and give you one measly fillet!) While... More

Nothing wrong with this at all - a good selection of seafood well cooked, perhaps a litle expensive but not bad value. The only gripe was that the service was a bit slow which was odd given that it was midweek in November with ony a couple of tables occupied. However it wan't that bad that i would advise anyone...
